I'm not trying to start a new thread, I'm trying to add more of the story to it, but My first post filled the character limit of 75000 words.
Continue it into your next post, which you can edit freely, and just add a note at the end of the first one. For bumping for updates, simply make a new update post (so it bumps the story thread), then delete it and rebump when you update again so as to avoid clutter.
