VIDEO MAY CONTAIN VAST EXPLETIVES. IF YOU ARE EASILY OFFENDED, ONLY LISTEN AS FAR AS YOU CAN. This. It is relevant to what bronydom was at first. Some say we lost that, some say we grew past it. In either case, this message is for all people who have known segregation by irrelevant things. By opinions, race, color of skin, color of blood. No, I am not implying that you have become unkind. I just feel that it is time to remind everyone of what this started as. All the feels, ~DanSze
I've guess others felt the way I did. That bronies slowly shifted away from what we started as. But the video sums it up nicely, no need to repeat it. -- Sent from my Palm Pre using Forums
Strictly speaking, the world referred to contained only 12 members of the species (trolls). What capitalism? What SOCIETY?
Capitalism= perfect society where everyone helps everyone Socialism= Do what you want even though it may screw us all Clearly, Capitalism is the better choice.
Can't tell if I see what you did there or you actually applied irrelevant terms to political philosophies. In either case, you are bringing politics into a religion thread. This is a prime example of doing it wrong.
I think it's just that some people took things for granted. The entire Derpy situation has hopefully reminded everyone of the distinct differences between what we are/caused us and what we have caused ourselves; how we have created and defined things.
Now that I look back to last summer... I can see a clear contrast to what has become of the fandom as a whole. This was refreshing. The video relates to my feelings exactly, so thank you. In any case, I do miss what we started as.
I know we can get back to that. I found my first pony playlist. When I first found alexS, ibringdalulz and salkrits. It had the ponyswag megamix and some other awesome songs. It brought back all the feelings I firsts had. Bronies just need a kick in the right direaction -- Sent from my Palm Pre using Forums
Out of hate we were born! Yet to love and tolerate we are sworn! Though the trolls will always come! This war has already been won! Stay strong and stand tall! For this herd shall never fall! ^ I live by this creed, try to love and tolerate everyone and never forget what it means to be a "true" brony.
Wait, what, people are taking this seriously? I guess I should take it as a compliment that people take me seriously, but really. I was expecting more along the lines of "We're still bronies stop being so presumptuous bvvvvvvvvddde", but hey, if people think there's a problem, I'm not one to say there's none. Not to mention, if you apply the message of this video to humanity, it is basically the original brony code. If you apply it to bronydom as the people spoken out against... >Powerful beings find anger when they have no room for love. >I realize, I am different than you. I have known feelings that you could never hope to know! >My mistake was thinking that I could change a world infected by hate and corruption. >I see your for what you are. I thought I could change you. >I'm angry because I forgive you. And I can't tell who you are applying this to. Therefore, very mixed reaction to this interest.
The sermon? Yes. Trolling as an art? Yes. People claiming there is a problem with bronydom? Not so much.
My brain is working.*Mechanical whirs and beeps*DING!!!DanSze is a gopher!Wait.Wrong calculation.Uhh....A fatal exception has occurred. Please stand by. Would you like to restart this brain? >Yes No
Whether or not it's actually a problem. This seems to happen with all fandoms really. Once everyone gets passed their "nationalistic-like" feelings everything tends to calm down. Once that is achieved, the only thing to spark emotion is random banter and arguments amongst ourselves. Or until we find something better to do. Then the magical cycle repeats.
Thus, I post things like this thread, causing people to post things claiming that new bronies are not genuine, and everyone gets mad, people get really patriotic to bronydom, great success. Do not want.
