Everypony needs a mascot, and who better to create one than the site's users? Of course, we can't have just one person deciding all the details, so it's time to put democracy to work. You, the site members, will make all the decisions, everything from name, race, and gender, to coloration and mane style. Here's how it will work: As the time comes to make each creative decision, I will be asking for input from all of you. After giving everybody time to make their suggestions, the ideas will be put to a vote, and the most popular idea will become part of the character. For certain things, like mane and and tail styles, I'll be asking the sites many artists to submit suggestions. I'd like to invite anybody interested to join in, and help make Everypony's mascot something to be proud of.

I think it would be a good idea that when each decision thread is made, it goes into the next community post to keep us informed about it.
Once we've decided on gender, the next step will be to decide on a race. Then, we can start suggesting names. It occurs to me that this entire process may take a couple of months. I hope nobody loses interest by then.
Now I just need to find flaws in "The System". Just Kidding... It'll be nice to collaborate on Ideas and see the end result.
