The morning was just beginning, with Celestia barely lifting the sun into the heavens as it cast a rosy glow across Equestria, as the latest class of patients arrived in Daisy Hills. A crew of white-suited nurses teleport in with gentle popping noises, bringing in the students. The seven young ponies gaze about in surprise and awe, since the foyer of Daisy Hills Asylum glittered like a princess's mansion. Great, twin spiral stairs twist upwards into a mass of grand rooms, and the marble floor gleams and sprawls away, to meet towering pillars that held the domed ceiling. Each student finds that the nurse who brought them disappears just as quickly, and they are faced by a tall, white alicorn. Her large, sparkling eyes are butter yellow, and her curly mane that cascades down her back is the same golden hue. She greets the young fillies warmly. "Welcome to your new home, everypony! You will be given the best care here, and taught all the things you could ever need to know! Now come with me, dearies," Spreading her wings, she gives them a friendly smile and leads them forward, to follow down a great hall between the staircases. *** Ultra Violet follows the strange, tall pony nervously, her indigo and purple tail twitching behind her. Her brow was furrowed with confusion. What did she mean, her new home? This place was just... too beautiful. Everything sparked brightly and pristine, like nothing she ever knew. She had a feeling that it could all be yanked away in an instant, and didn't trust this pony who promised such things she couldn't deserve. *** Toxic Rain trotted after the lady-like alicorn, her eyes wide with surprise. She felt like this was some kind of dream, a place where she could pursue her chase for knowledge, uninhibited. She grinned like a filly, and flapped her wings to hurry ahead.
Fernleaf took a sudden look around the place. She hadn't expected other foals to arrive the moment she did. "Oh!" Fernleaf squeaked. "I can meet some friends here! Great!" She trotted alongside the black unicorn near her with a huge, stupid grin spread across her face. "Hello! My name is Fernleaf! What's yours?"
Falce Mortis walked calmly in the hall, and soon, everypony got in front of him. He kept an eye on them, but wanted to be alone. He hated other ponies.
Ore followed the lady into the magnificent building for now Ore felt normal he had sudden mood mostly he was really sad or really happy but there are times when he can be filled rage for no reason, or be a completely different pony he doesn't like to come out. He noticed the ponies around him he could tell that he had to make one friend or he would be singled out and picked on. He looked behind him to see another male pony but he looked like he wasn't to be bothered he saw the rest were girls he shrugged and waited to see the ponies personality.
Falce Mortis grinned to the male pony in front of him. He seemed manipulable. "Hey. Name's Falce Mortis."
(Fernleaf, I'm going to assume that Falce ignored you, if that's who you meant by the black pony,) Ultra noticed a grinning pony nearby her, with an imperial purple coat and gleaming amber eyes. She cantered closer to her, and nudged her gently on the flank. "Psst!" she hissed, her eyes glancing about her nervously. "My name's Ultra Violet. What's yours? And why are you so happy?" She imagined looming shadows behind every hanging rug, soldiers or worse hiding in cheery gardens outside the grand windows. *** The beautiful pony leading you young ponies glances back at them for a moment, but continues her smooth, flowing pace. She seems uninterested in your talk.
Firestar who decided to trot slightly behind the other ponies with her head down. Although she admired the ancient and historical paintings. History was the only thing stopping her from extreme depression. Fire then sighed and talked to the neon green And yellow maned pony. "umm, hi, my names firestar. I suffer from clinical depression. Why are you here what do you suffer"
Toxic Rain shuffled her hooves, looking at the strange red pony beside her. "My name is Toxic Rain.. I didn't know I had anything wrong with me until yesterday, but they say I have 'melancholia.'" She brushed her bright bangs from her eyes, and smiled. "Despite that, I'm rather enthusiatic today. This school seems marvelous!"
"oh, ok, I can't wait for history learning about the history of equestria is the only thing that calms my depression and looking at this place I've got a lot to keep me occupied. Remember when we got told dorms which was yours mines a4 in the Luna block."
Silver looked around him in contentment. Everything was so...organized. Clean. He liked it here. He glanced at the other ponies. Hopefully they wouldn't make fun of him for his...er...personality. Everypony at the last school he'd gone to had...
Cherry Berry followed the others without saying anything directly to anyone, but if somepony looked at her closely enough, they'd see that her lips were moving and she was making all sorts of facial expressions. These ponies seem nice! Of course, you'd be the first to say that, Strawberry Cream. Everypony seems nice to you... Oh, Mango! You're too paranoid. Both of you shut up. I can't hear myself think... I wonder what they do here. Lemon Lime! I didn't see you there! Don't you think these ponies seem nice? Stawberry...you're really a piece of work... Raspberry, help me out here. *snicker* You're on your own, Limey. Oh... You're all here already. JELLY JAM!!! Boy, am I glad to see you! Don't you think these ponies all seem nice? I guess... They haven't tried to make fun of Cherry Berry yet. That's Because Cherry Berry is the bestest best friend in the whole wide entire- GREAT CELESTIA'S MANE, SHUT UP, STRAWBERRY CREAM! Shh! I think that tall pony heard you... [size=-2]Oh. Sorry...[/size] It's ok. You just shouldn't talk so much. You know how Cherry gets when we all talk at once... See? Her lips are moving already. ... What? Do you think she'll talk to someone else? What if she stops being our friend? She won't. We're the best friends anypony could have. I'm glad. Me too.
Silver's sharp, observant eyes watched Cherry's lips move. Except she wasn't talking to anyone around her. ... ... ... ... Okay. He had been patient. Now...calmly...patiently... Silver made his way over to her and poked her gently on the shoulder with his hoof. "Um. Excuse me. Could you please stop that? That thing with your lips? Um. Thanks."
Star walked into the room following the others but keeping a distance. She looked towards the walls. "Hello there! Its a pleasure to meet you! I am sure we will be best of friends!" A close inspection would show her left eye getting darker and darker but her right was lighter and more whitened.
Cherry's conversation was interrupted by a tap on her shoulder. She turned toward the white unicorn and scrutinized him for a moment. Her voice came out slightly husky as she responded, "Could you please stop that? Pfft. Mind your beeswax-" Her voice suddenly deepend and sounded more smoky. "Shush, Mango. I'm terribly sorry, whoever you are. We'll try to keep it down from now on." Suddenly, her eyes widened and she pushed herself toward her new classmate. "HI!" Her voice was now high-pitched and squeaky. "Name's Strawberry Cream! You seem nice! Nice ta meetcha!" She sighed. Her voice deepend again, but sounded more...royal. "What she said. It's nice to meet you. Lemon Lime, but you can call me Cherry Berry. If you have any questions about us, feel free to ask me. I know some of them better than they know themselves. Sorry fo our rudeness. You are?" The husky voice returned again. "A punk."
"Why am I so happy?" Fernleaf repeated. "Silly! We're all here together, around ponies we've never met! It's an opportunity to meet new friends! And everypony in here looks really nice!" She looked behind her to see one pony sort of speaking to herself. "...if not odd..." she continued. "Nice to meecha, Ultra Violet!" Fernleaf got awkwardly close to Ultra. "My name's Fernleaf!"
Silver's frown deepened. This looked like a serious case of multiple personalities. Which happened to really get on his nerves. Then again, most things did. "I'm terribly sorry to disturb you, but would you kindly keep your thoughts either entirely to yourself, or share them with everypony else? It just kind of...annoys me...when your lips move but you aren't saying anything." He started to turn away, then turned back, still absolutely calm just as he had been the whole time. "Did you, pray tell, just call me a...'punk'?"
Cherry was approached by firestar. "your not the only one who he's probably going to get on your nerves, Im starting to dislike him as well. Anyway what dorm are you in I'm a4 in the Luna block. I'm firestar by the way."
Silver's frown now became a full-out scowl. "I beg ​your pardon?!" he said, addressing Firestar with a mixture of shock and...well, shock and disappointment. "I would ask you to state your opinions in a polite manner, at least, even if the opinion itself is not particularly nice! See how I, for example, politely asked Cherry to stop what she was doing that bothered me? I should expect you to do the same if you have a problem."
Ore had been in the back of the group most of the time he was kicked into his depression once again he felt miserable and wanted to kill himself. After a while he turned back to his normal self and noticed he was at the back and he jogged over to the group. He looked around to see they were still walking he stared at the group but he knew he had missed a lot and he walked into the middle of the group he couldn't be the outcast.
