Everypony Technical Updates BE HAPPY! THESE CHANGES = AWESOMESAUCE - Log #2 Hey Everypony! Grey here with the second of Everypony.com's technical update logs! As of, 03/12/11 the following 'technical' changes have been made to the site: A Facebook page link/icon has been added to the Network theme (top right). A Twitter icon has been added to the radio page! The Radio Page's Broadcast, Media Archive, News Page Links and Title Header have been removed; the pages will shortly follow. - They were big, distracting and scarcely used. Signature Character limit has been upped to 600 (from 400) including BB Code, beware that the 200px height limit has not changed. Soundcloud tags have been added! Please make sure you 'unlink' any pasted soundcloud links (which Vbulletin may auto-parse) else they won't work! A Network-Wide Newsreel has been added to the top of most pages, this will hopefully draw more attention to site updates, downtimes, competitions and other important (and interesting!) information. The Network Location icons will no longer appear on member profiles. Other minor HTML/CSS Edits. The EP endorsed roleplay chat has been closed entirely, any other roleplay chats, despite their name or owners ARE NOT supported by or affiliated with this site. Thanks for your unwavering patience and support Everypony! ~ Grey Nightmare
So Everypony Network has a Facebook and a Twitter now... What about a Tumblr page? We shall spread all across the social media of the Internet! A Google+ page might be interesting as well, but I don't know if very many of our members have one. I've already commented on how awesome the Soundcloud linking is, but the new Newsreel feature is a fantastic idea as well! This will definitely make it easier (for me at least) to get a quick rundown on the latest happenings. Ooh, and it looks like signature length has increased too! I'll be sure to edit mine when I'm able to take advantage of this.
Update [CSS Fix in response to newsreel/low resolution reports]: -> Made some CSS property changes to the Newsreel, it should now collapse and drop rows along with the rest of the forums & picture links (as opposed to just flying off the page on smaller resolutions). Although this may still cause some overlap between newsreel/section images due to the size and segmentation of the newsreel's divs, it's undoubtedly a favourable change.
