"I knew i was right to follow," Moonbeam thought to himself. Moonbeam steps up beside Ice. "Sorry everypony, you seem I am a companion of sorts to Ice here. I assure you I am unarmed and am here solely to expand upon the peace between tribes." Aside to Ice, "Sorry for this, but the hostilities here are high. Roll with it for now and do what you must later." Facing back to the two other tribes, "Now then may this...uh...meeting begin?"
Hibiscus threw a dirty look at Moonbeam. "You, my good friend, are an idiot. There are specific laws that do not allow for any weaponry in here. Have you completely forgotten them, or do you plan on simply violating them and earning a one-way trip to the cells. You're guards will leave. If you're so hell-bent on having them, they can guard the door from the OUTSIDE, but they cannot be in here."
(if you read my post carefully he only adjusted his sword not unsheath it) "I am sorry about that. you see commander hurricane, my superior ordered us to take the weapons into the meeting and you don't want to disobey him" Cobra ordered his men to throw there weapons on the ground outside. Once that was done he continued to speak. "you see hurricane, is known in cloudsdale as a fearsome leader which nobody wants to cross the line with him. My orders given to me by him was protect ice with your life, I tried to explain to him about the consequences and the rules of the meeting but he didn't listen. All he said in reply was... I don't care about rules just do it and take down those unicorns no questions asked"
(I know he didn't draw his sword) "Well, when you get back, take care to remind him that decisions made by the Tri-council overrule that of his own. And also that what he demanded you to do is considered an act of war." Snow told Cobra. "Now lets get this meeting started."
(you might want to edit that, Cobra. Cloudsdale doesn't exist yet.) "Commander Hurricane..." Hibiscus sighed. Of all the pegasi, he hated that one the most. "Right, now with that messiness out of the way, we begin." He glanced around at the other two at the table. After an awkward silence, he said "So...who will begin?"
"Right then let the meeting commence" Ice said. The court room grew silent as our daily meeting commenced and the air around the unicorn and earth pony reps. seemed to be a bit more off than usual but Ice just ignored that feeling.
(what shall the Pegasus city be called then) Cobra heart watched as he saw the 3 different races discuss events. He was more of a diplomat than a fighter and one reason he joined the guards was to gain trust, loyalty and enough followers to take down hurricane and to replace him as the pegasi leader and to rule as a more trusted and fair president. This passion showed and soon the others in the hall noticed.
Snow waited for the meeting to get well into its matters, so that when the unicorns had the floor again, they were all listening. Snow went through the speech one last time in her head and cleared her throat, "Ladies and gentlecoats," she started, which gave the signal to Ashes to start his calming spell, "Tensions between the three races are at an all time high, as this year is proving to be the coldest in memory. Food production is down, and everypony is suffering. But there is only one way to prevent this from happening, the formation of a cohesive, all race nation that is no longer relatent upon one race to do one job and be able to threaten others with not doing it. In such a nation, we would all be equal, lead by a fairly elected council made of any number ponies of different races. The unicorns are finding their current situation unsustainable, and unless peace is found, and traquility restored, we will be forced to move and unable to rise the sun and moon." Snow started. She looked around to see the full effect of her speech, and making sure she had all eyes, then she contiuned her speech.
Hibiscus raised a hoof as a sign that he wished to interject. When he was sure he had their attention, he said "So, you're saying you would have every race do every job?" He shook his head. "That would never work out. Only pegasi can touch clouds, an earth pony would fall right through it. Only unicorns can touch the sun and the moon, pegasi can't fly that high. Only earth ponies can grow food, pegasi and unicorns alike don't seem to be able to distinguish a watering can from fertilizer." He glanced quickly at Snow. "...most of the time."
"I am forced to agree with the earth ponies on this one we are the only ones who can stand on the clouds and controlling the weather is no easy feat." Ice agreed with the earth pony rep. "As for you objecting to raise the sun and moon would prove to be a death sentence for us all. Unicorns pegasi and earth ponies alike. And I would like to say that not everypony will accept others for obvious reasons." he continued. "I would love to start a peaceful era I just don't think the tribes are ready for that." Ice finally finished.
"Well, I think I know something that might help bring unity." Snow said. Ashes cast his spell and the calming ashes spread throughout the building. Here goes nothing, Snow thought, and her horn glew a bright white, there was a long blinding pulse of light, and then it faded. What was revealed shocked everypony there, were Snow once stood, there were now three ponies, each of a different race. The unicorn was still Snow, but with her stood a pitch black pegasus with fiery red eyes and mane, and a grayish brown earth pony with orange eyes and a blue mane. "I hold the blood of all three races in my blood, my very essence is of the three races." the three said collectively together, "Together, we represent unity and balance!"
Hibiscus's jaw slammed into the table. "WHAT THE-" He stuttered. Terrified, he took a step back, then another. Ponies don't just split into three on a regular basis; stuff like this simply doesn't happen! He smacked himself to check if he was dreaming, but when he re-opened his eyes, the three Snows were still standing where they had been a moment ago. "Okay, so you can split yourself into three. That's interesting." He shook his head as if he had a huge headache. "If we WERE in fact to unite like you say, how would we go about doing it? Like i said, our physical abilities still outweigh what we think."
"Our physical attributes are what assign us our jobs." the three said at once, "But we cannot use our abilities to threaten the other races. And also, we did this to show you that we are no different. That we are the same on the inside, that there is no need to fight each other." the three said together. "I am the only pony in the world who is able to do this." the real Snow said, "Each one has their own personality, they are quite seperate from me." the dark one stepped forth, "I, am Dark Light." then the earth pony came forth, "And I am Retilum Yorth."
(Reading that post with three voices at once felt REALLY trippy.) Hibiscus was about to respond when he felt an odd, soothing warmth pass over him. 'What in the hay is going on now?' he thought. Suddenly, he didn't feel so freaked out at the fact that Snow had just totally disembodied herself into three ponies. He recognized the feeling. This was the same feeling he had felt when Snow shoved that flower down his throat to cure his case of poison joke. 'She's done something to lessen the shock about this. Smart move, Snow.' Hibiscus straightened himself. With conviction, he said "You know what, I agree, Snow. I'm sure there's a way we can find that will allow us to live together without having all these issues." He turned towards his crowd of earth ponies. "Yes?" he questioned. A few nervously looked at each other, others nodded. Most of them didn't move, most likely from the shock of Snow's personality split. Turning back to Snow, he said "We should find a way to convince the leaders of each tribe to come to a consensus about this. Also, if we are to be united, we will need to elect more ponies for the council you spoke of earlier."
(Hey, I have an idea. Let's say the Windego incident never acually happened, but got spun into the legend as time went on because that year was one of the coldest ever. Sound like a good idea?)
"if I may interject" cobraheart said "this is all well and good, I completely agree with you but there is one problem how shall we go about this commander hurricane and the queen of the unicorns won't like it especially hurricane. If only we had a pegasi leader who would actually go through with this".
(pretty good idea snow, how about commander hurricane gets replaced as leader of the pegasi, the earth pony leader is replaced and the queen is replaced with people who agree with a united kingdom)
(Well, Snow IS the unicorn leader, as I will explain later in my post, but good idea. But over time, Celestia comes to power and modern Equestria is born.) Snow smiled, "Don't worry about the unicorn leader, I am the leader." (ah, get it, because Rarity has a white coat and she played as the unicorn leader, get it?) "As for the pegisus leader, who cares?"
"if I am able to somehow become leader, this will be a whole lot easier. As I said before commander hurricane will never go through with this and would not rest until pegatropolis are separate from everyone else no matter what"
