Yea, maybe a little while after season 2 is launched they'll make some reasonable DVD's for the first season.
I'm not really seeing that happening... People who buy DVD's don't always want the toys as well, nor would they like to pay extra for them
I don't remember, I think it was an Applejack toy~ Oh and I derped, it was episode 3 that came with the toy, not 1 xD
A DVD is already confirmed. I can't be bothered finding the source, but it came from Hasbro's official facebook page, or something.
If there wasn't a DVD release, it would be a very bad move on Hasbro's end. Of course, being a "kids show", I'm doubting they'll have anything extra on it really.
I've got them on my iPod, computer and even on a burnt DVD so I can watch them, say, up a family member's house. However, I'm still going to buy the DVD. 1. There's probably going to be a few extras. Even if they will be marketed at young girls, they might still be interesting. 2. I want to support the creators by giving them my hard earned dosh. 3. There's something about having the official DVD that will just make watching them even more amazing.
Sorry to step in on your DVD talk, but I found something.....interesting... I was reading the September issue of Gamepro Magazine and to my surprise, they had a little blurb for the fan-made MLP: Fighting is Magic! My intial reaction- My reaction after- D: I have no picture, but here's what it said: "We hate MLP, so we're quite eager to give Twilight Sparkle the a**-kicking she's deserved for so long. There are no bronies up in here, bro." I had to supress the enormous desire to skip along while yelling "haters gonna hate!"
