Greetings

Greetings, everypony. This May marks my second anniversary of becoming a brony. I came across MLP: FiM by accident: I was bored one day, and I started randomly browsing about Know Your Meme. After awhile, I came across Derpy Hooves, and further probing indicated that there were fans of a new generation of My Little Pony. This piqued my curiosity, so I went to YouTube to start watching episodes of MLP: FiM. Needless to say, I was hooked withing mere minutes of watching the first episode.

My name is Zach, and I am 27 years old. I reside in the US state of Minnesota, and I have the following interests:

• Collecting and shooting firearms (my name is obviously based on my favorite battle rifle, the M14).
• Reading.
• Politics.
• Economics.
• Science.
• History.
• Debating (although I don't have as much time for it as I did when I was younger, given that I work full-time and I have returned to college).
• Philosophy (granted, I have much research to do in this field).
• Handloading/reloading ammunition.
• Working out.
• Alcoholic beverages (as I stated above, I am of legal drinking age).
• Video games.
• MLP: FiM (obviously).

I like all of the Mane 6 ponies, but Twilight Sparkle is my favorite, given that I so easily identify with her (I am an introverted, intellectual type of person). In spite of being single, I got myself a two bedroom apartment when I moved from my old one in August 2011. The good deal I got on the apartment was nice enough, but I got that other bedroom so I could turn it into a study.
