It was blissful, Bee sat silently near a small waterfall. She felt provocative and liberated, she thoughts teemed with peaceful thoughts as the birds behind her cooed joyfully. Though deep in her heart she was apathetic and wished for something that was perplexing. She chirped at the birds in the response and one gave a little flutter, sending the other two off balance on the low branch. She looked at her fur, which looked as if a thin layer of mist had been coated on it. She chuckled playfully, then scanned the area. Finding no threat she went back to calmly thinking. @KillStreak
BladeRunner just finished with another hammer, putting it through cold water for it to cool off. He made sure the curtains to the forge were closed so no steam could escape the large room. Weapons racks were stacked upon each other, sizes small to large, thin to wide, and short to tall. These types of items are sold easily to other forges or people to melt the items down into metal to crate something else, or the buyer could set the items up in his or her home. Most ponies have thought that BladeRunner was a Unicorn with the strength of a string Earth pony, but what they did not realize was the disguise he wore. Later on he moved out to the forest to train his own magic. Seeing a waterfall, he walked towards it, seeing how well his magic could interact with water...
Bee easily heard his steps and cocked her head. She made small movements and receded into the bushes, attempting to be unseen. It was slow as she kept her pace, being careful not to step on any twigs or dry crunchy leaves. Once in the leaves, Bee stared out. She usually didn't see ponies this deep in the woods, thus making her easily curious. She shifted so only the sharpest eye could see her, and even then it would be hard.
BladeRunner walked up to the waterfall and pulled out a few scrolls using magic. He looked around, no one seemed to in sight, so he dropped his magic camouflage. His wings were uncovered and he stretched them out, making sure he heard the pop in them. He then folded the wings as his horn glowed a neon green and using the magic he lifted one of the scrolls. Opening it he spoke the words, "EchsCesh Flora!" The waterfall before him froze into ice, completely thick. He then got on the frozen water and grabbed out what looked like a hammer and an embalming tool.
Bee glowered, bewildered and amazed. Then whispered quietly, "Magic. Alicorn?" She knew alicorns were extremely powerful yet very rare. The introspection of it was alarming. He could be evil and destroy the forest. Her hackles rose, she growled. Bee arose from the bushes and glared at him savagely. Her bared teeth burnished in the light. (Not much the vocabulary counts to me!)
Blade turned to the growling, seeing the wolf. He took few steps back, "Oh man, if only I had some steak." His hammer was stuck in the slide like ice, the sharp weapon in his left hoof. He wasn't afraid, just being cautious, "Ok, I don't know what I did, but I'm sure theres an explanation. Are you hungry?"
Bee heeded the sharp object and took a step back, then spoke some of the few words she knew, "Could be dangerous." She gestured to him. "Danger" She then gestured to her claws and teeth. Then audibly muttered under her breath while glaring at him, "Death." She obviously wasn't hungry, but defensive of the forest.
BladeRunner could tell that this... wolf of some sort seemed to be hostile, although it really didn't look that way. He was nice enough to drop the weapon, "Okay, thats the first step." Once he took another step back, he lost all grip on the ice and fell over.
Bee stifled a laugh. She took a few steps forward, attempting to reach the tool. She put a paw on the ice but it immediately slipped. She used her claws to grip it and stepped lightly, careful not to break it. Bee cocked her head and looked at him. He didn't seem threatening to her now that he was on the ground. She took the object and dragged it towards her, and out of his range.
Struggling to stand up, Blade spoke, "Damnit, why did I not have any traction!" He then used his magic to creates boots of some sort, "Perfect." He looked at the wolf and then shot off a small beam. It burnt the ground, leaving a small, yet long hole, "I suggest you don't move."
Bee pursed her lips and a confused look spread across her face. She chuckled to herself then looked at his boots, "Your feet look funny." Her sentence was wobbly, and she chuckled again. She surveyed the circle he had made, still confused about it. Her fur bristled as she looked frozen besides the wind that ruffled her coat. If she moved she knew she would have drowning lessons.
BladeRunner took a few moments to process what was going on, "Okay, now that we have that established, identify yourself, now." He demanded looking the wolf dead straight in the eyes. He didn't trust this one, just like any of the others, she would end up dead and left out in the forest. Something cracked beneath Blades hooves as he looked down, see in gut rice breaking from the weight, "Oh Shi-" That was all he could get out before falling under a large, thick sheet of ice.
Bee was quick to react, she leaped onto the land and scaled the hill that held the top of the waterfall. It didn't take her long to all that before she was shoving a large rock to the edge. She would let it plummet and create a whole in which the pony could escape. Unless we was unconscious, then she would attempt to make an accurate dive into the hole and save him. She shoved the rock over, watching it fall with a sharp eye. Hopefully he would be sensible enough to be looking for the whole he fell through, though the ice shatter near him would show him another way out in case he didn't find.
Bee peered over the edge of the frozen waterfall. Her dug into the ice so she couldn't slip and make the same mistake the pony had made. Her ears pricked and swiveled. (Oh golly that shortness.)
Getting out of the icy pool of water, freezing but warming up as the warm air greeted his fur. His attention was more towards his magic though, making sure it worked correctly. He shot a small neon green beam at a tree, burning that part into ashes. He was glad it still worked, forgetting about the wolf.
Bee squinted. Surely dangerous when in face-to-face combat. He would have to be taken out under stealth. Her front paws began slipping as she thought, she sent small rocks tumbling down and quickly backed up when she realized it.
Swiftly on his hooves, BladeRunner turned to the wolf, "Look, I don't mean no harm," He had an expression that would make a cockatrice want to back off, "I don't know why you natives tend to be hostile, but whatever I did it was only for scientific studies." Maybe he said too much, but he said whatever he needed to. If this wolf were to attack, he wasn't going to hesitate any longer. He was a marine for christ sake! He's not supposed to hesitate, he supposed to kill on sight!
Bee tipped her head sideways, she perked up a bit, curious. Her tail wagged a few times. Though the fur on her neck stood rigid and aware. Her narrow eyes gleamed. "Studies?" She repeated in question, though it sounded more like she said 'stoodies'.
"Studies, you know tests?" Blade asked in curiosity, did this wolf not know what a test was? He was no scientist, but he can try a few new things with magic... and some new ingredients. "Studies, umm... what you write down when you are recording a-" Suddenly Blade was knocked out due to a spike of ice striking him dead center in the head.
Bee gasped, then jumped in the bushes. She studied the area, beginning to understand what he was saying until so rudely interrupted. She want to find the culprit at once!
