(There's a sign up, sorry, forgot to put it in the description.) - - - Double Post Auto Merge - - - Hunter and Ash rushed about their home, looking for Firebreeze, their son. Their daughter, Ember, sat and watched, looking slightly confused. "I swear, that kid disappears all too often!" Ash complained. Hunter just rolls her eyes and continues to look. After a small giggle is heard, they turn to the cabinets to watch their young pegasus son burst out and fly off. Hunter sighs, "Just another day in the life of a parent, I guess..."
Alstroemeria tossed the ball again at the squealing foal on the floor. The little boy laughed as it struck him softly in the head and bounced off with a small "boop!" Alstroemeria got up and walked towards the little foal. Expecting the ball again, he got back to his hooves and stood at attention, but was startled as he was picked up by his mother. "It's time for you to go to bed, little one. You can't stay up too late." Having no idea what she just said, the foal simply coo'd and waited suspended in the air. Alstroemeria placed him in his crib and walked off. The moment she was out of sight, her smile drooped and her eyelids fell. "Good night..." She whispered. Even after she went to sleep, she had no idea if she was talking to herself or Delphinium.
Clef looked at the little foal playing with a color coated Xylophone making random notes he looked turned his chair and started to type trying to make a new book he had thought up when playing with Grazer. Soon he had heard the front door squeak and he turned around to see Marriot she looked at Grazer and frowned at Clef "You know I told you to put him to bed at 9:00," she said. "I know I was just waiting so Grazer could give you a hug before he goes to sleep," Clef said she smiled and levitated Grazer and hugged him she brought him to his crib and dropped him inside. "Good night" she said and slowly closed the door to see and it finally shut Marriot looked at Clef and sighed "Why are you so irresponsible," she said with a smile Clef shrugged and turned back to his chair and started to type again.
TickTock couldn't help but stare at her adorable little foal. Gea was tossing about, flinging little blocks everywhere. Gea squealed in delight when a block thwacked into Althemier's head. Althemier grumbled and shoved the block away with his wing. "Ticker, I don't see how you can laugh when she hits you with things.." TickTock only smiled and hugged her gigglin foal. "Bedtime, sugar." Gea rubbed her eyes with her hooves as TickTock took her to bed.
Sweetpearl and Clockwatch watched Night sit there, confused. "Why does he not go play with something?" Clockwatch nodded before going up to him and waving a hoof in front of his face, to which, Night grabbed his hoof and kept a grip with his chin until Clockwatch simply put him over his small bed. "Kids."
Ink and Techie looked at their young colt who was currently playing with left over wood from Techie's own projects. "Is it weird he doesn't fly Ink?" Techie asked in a slightly worried voice as Facade stared at two wooden blocks in concentration. "I'm not sure dear...He seems to be an intelligent young colt. Can read, can do some basic things with wood. Maybe he just doesn't know how." Ink responded as he shifted his glasses watching the his son stack the wood together. They both sat together on a couch watching their son stack together a wooden fort. He fluttered inside and grinned at his parents as he showed off his magnificent work. Techie smiled softly and walked over. "Such a creative young colt! I'm sure you'll grow up to be a fine young pony." She cooed. Facade giggled and hugged his mother who slowly lifted him out of his fort, knowing the tantrum she would receive if she touched a single block. Ink rose as Techie took Facade to his bed and both looked down on the colt as he began to doze off. "I hope we've taught him well...Soon enough he'll be going to school." Techie whispered softly. "I know we have...We've raised him to believe creative and intelligence drive this world. What could possibly go wrong with that?" Facade snored loudly alerting the parents of his status. Both exited the room and Techie nodded her head. "You're right...I'm sure he'll be a great pony."
"Snow, dear, please don't…and you did anyways." Billy Mark groaned as he tried to contain his new daughter, Snow, who was no enjoying her time knocking everything over in the pantry, while covered in flour (Sound familiar?). "Come on you little rascal!" he said, before running in and swooping her up, "I don't know how your mother can be so good with you!" Billy exclaimed as he took her to the bathroom to wash off the flour, "But hey, your a Mark, I shouldn't be surprised that your adventurous, we all are." Billy entered the bathroom, and with Snow in one arm, he got the water going, "It's weird for me to think about what you could become when your older, even for just a few years." he was mostly just talking to himself now, but what can you do when you run Mark co and try to raise a child?
Hunter and Ash were eventually able to catch Firebreeze and put him and his sister to bed. The collapsed onto the couch, exhaused. "Who knew we'd end up having the most energetic kid on the planet..." Ash said, gasping for air.
“Where do they get all this energy from?” The two parents watched their filly run around the house unaware they had tired out and stopped chasing her. “I have no idea honey, maybe there bodies naturally produce sugar or something.” Realizing that her parents stopped Alice ran up to them with a huge smile on her face. The two recognized this as the perfect time to strike. “Gotcha.” They grabbed her and took her to bed. Alice protested this by squirming but they eventually got her to go to sleep with a lullaby. Closing the door to her room quietly they both sighed. “I’m sure glad we won’t have to do this forever.”
(This calls for a time skip! To the Filly/Colt stage!!!) It's the first day of school and all the parents are preparing their kids. Firebreeze seemed grumpy as he was walked to the school by his father. "Why do I gotta go here, dad?" Fire asked, "I wanna be a dare devil like you, not a scientist or a doctor! or something!" Ash sighed, "Well, believe it or not, you need to go to school to be a dare devil. I had to, now it's your turn." Fire groaned as they reached the school. "Have a good day, kiddo." Ash said before turning around and flying home.
The doorbell rang throughout the Mark Manor, everypony there knew who it was. "Snowy, your tutor is here!" Moonlight Sunbeam's sweet voice called. Snow descended shyly down the stairs to her mother who was standing next to the large double doors. Smiling sweetly at her daughter, she opened the door and the tutor stepped in, "Ah, hello Ms Sunbeam, I take it this is your daughter?" the tutor asked in his high-class, complete with the classic Canterlot accent. Moonlight nodded, "Snow, say hello to your tutor, Mr. Freeflame." Snow smiled weakly, "Hello Mr. Freeflame." she said meakly. Freeflame tapped his hoof on the tile floor, "Right then, shall we get started?"
(Is this the stage where we get our cutie marks?) "But mom! Why did you pick it up in the first place! Just, like, throw it out the winduh or something!" Delphinium's mother looked appalled as she picked up baby Fernleaf off the ground. "How DARE you say that about your sister! Get your stuff and go to school now!" Groaning, he picked up his saddlebags and walked out the door. Stupid little thing. Can't believe she went and got another... he thought as he stormed his way towards his schoolhouse.
Facade smiled, excited at the prospect of learning and meeting new ponies he could discuss things like his parents. His father and mother were busy today and couldn't walk him to school, but they trusted he wouldn't get into to much trouble. As he walked into the school yard he saw a green pony being dropped off by his father. He walked up to the pony and greeted him. "Hello! My name is Facade! What's yours?" He asked curiously.
(Such innocent beginnings to Facade's and Firebreeze's rivalry) Snow sat at a desk her parents had set up in a study, while Mr Freeflame worked away at the chalkboard. Snow was already a lot smarter than most of her age due to her studying and being taught by her parents, so instead of the usual kindergarten level teacher, they brought in a level (I don't know how it's organized) 3 teacher for her studies, and Snow already felt like she knew most of the stuff he was writing on the chalkboard.
