Any Linux users here? I know most everyone will be an open source user here unless they use IE, as Chrome and Firefox are both open source LOL.

I'm torrenting the DVD image for Debian 7 right now, I plan to put GNOME for a desktop (awaits the booing).

I used to have systems on Zorin and Linux mint, but since college I've needed Win7 for my laptop (for Visual Studio for programming)

I've always been a windows user; but I did try a few linux flavors a while back. Since I've been in college though I've gotten super cheap access to whatever the latest MSFT software is and so it's biased my purchasing decisions.

Actually I won't boo you for wanting GNOME. I prefer it over Unity, currently. It's just a poor man's Windows 7 currently.

    Eeyup.
    Linux developer here, in fact.
I've used a wide range of distros. The ones currently is Mageia and Fedora.

I do still have Windows, but only on my desktop.

I've actually always wanted to jump over to a Linux system.

But I've never been successful at learning the OS and getting my games to work flawless over there.

Other applications I had no problem with finding an alternative app for version for on there.

But figuring out the drivers was a pain and not figuring out the gaming either sort of made me scratch the idea of joining the Linux population.

All tho I think Linux is amazing.
