I'm interested in this. I won't be able to add my bit in at the moment, I'm busy with other things.

 

I will gladly put in my oc, summerset. Shes generally happy and shes got a strong will and is not upset easily unless they bring up her small birth defect (shes unable to do anything beyond very basic magic like lifting a pencil and writing for a short period) she is pretty much blind without her glasses, which causes her to be VERY protective of them. She has a special ability. She can manipulate shadows into shapes and stuff, making her perfect for shadow puppet shows and stuff.

Crimson was born in Canterlot but was moved to a cold alpine town called 'Snowville' when his birth parents both died in an accident when Crimson was a couple of weeks old. He was taken by his auntie, 'Winter Rush' and was raised in the town. Living a fairly relaxed life. At some point in his early 20s after graduating from university, he moved to Ponyville to open his own movie theater.

Crimson generally has a strong will and is sometimes quite happy. He is very friendly and polite to others. He was always different as a child, and seen as quite weird but friendly in return. Has a special talent that made him far more perceptive than normal ponies, and is more aware of his surroundings and surprisingly good at video games. He's also a big movie and video game buff

Appearance: A slightly smaller than average build than most ponies, has a white coat, sky blue eyes, and a spiky blond mane made to be appropriate for formal and informal
Short Description: Likable, over-worked, rich, genius, internally scarred, passionate, secretive (On certain information)
Long Description: Snow has a very well practiced public image and personality in which she puts off the image of being light-hearted, likable, good with words, and a generally friendly and laid back pony. However, this may be her ‘ideal’ image, she is far from it, she is internally scarred from both questionable practices of Mark Co, and also events of her past. She is also highly stressed from constantly overworking herself as she tries to run Mark Co by herself. However, that said, ever since she finally got a special somepony, she has slowly gotten better about it. She is very passionate and protective of those close to her, willing to go to the ends of world for them.
Backstory: Born to a country raised genius, founder of Mark Corporations, Billy Ward Mark, and Canterlot noble, Moonray Sunbeam, Snow was raised from her very fortunate beginnings to take over Mark Co from her father, a process in which quickly revealed her genius and ingenuity from a very young age. However, she was a ‘late bloomer’ in finding her cutie mark, which only came to her after studying an old history book that referenced an old, forgotten form of magic that had to do with a pony’s ‘true inner self’ and through long mediation to unlock this magic to her, becoming the first pony to do so in over a thousand years. As Snow grew older, she soon became a media sweetheart, her lovable attitude and cute appearance drawing the press to her like bees to honey, along with her promising genius and her position as due to take over Mark Co, which at the time, although small, was already becoming a very fast growing and increasingly rich and powerful company. By the age of 16, her father began a four year transitional period to get her acclimated to full control of Mark Co and all its responsibilities, however this process was cut short by 2 years when Snow lost control of her temper one day with her parents, and her volatile essence magic ended up killing her parents and a couple house butlers. Barely escaping with her freedom and her sanity (being acquitted under the defense of ‘her current position is punishment enough’), Snow ran away to Ponyville, where she began overworking herself to distract herself from the pain of what had happened, but that constant working of her’s has lead to Mark Co exploding in size from just a resource-exploitation and services company when she first took the ownership, to a massive force dominating multiple industries across the board in just 8 years. Only recently has she slowed, coinciding with rumors of her finding a special somepony, though those have yet to be verified by the press or by Snow herself.

Name: Lowline Thrash (Nicknames: Thrashy, LT)

History: Originally born in the pegasus city of Quillroy, Thrash was raised in the small farming community of Hollistallion. Like Ponyville, Hollistallion was originally established (and remains largely inhabited) by Earth ponies. But much unlike the denizens of Ponyville, the Earth ponies of Hollistallion have always been quite prejudiced towards pegasi and unicorns; this caused Thrash to be the target of relentless schoolyard bullying. Throughout his school 'career', he managed to befriend two unicorns - just as outcast as he - whose friendship provided him much needed relief from the relentless torment of his classmates. This relief was short-lived, however, as his father walked out on the family, leaving him, his mother and sisters to fend for themselves. Thrash's aggression only grew as the hard times piled on, but around the time his stepfather came into his life, so did his best friend - Sweeps. Sharing a love of heavy metal, Thrash and Sweeps took up instruments (bass and guitar, respectively) and began to dabble in making metal of their own - a healthy and much needed outlet for their aggressions. After their aptitude for music was fully realized, each colt earned his cutie mark; Thrash's spiked bass clef reflective of his shredding, "lead bass" style of play. The songwriting duo, after employing the talents of other musicians, became a band that seek to make a name for themselves across west coast Equestria...and possibly further.
Personality: As a result of his rough upbringing, Thrash is no fan of sugarcoating his words; he's as direct as direct can be. Along with a zero tolerance for BS, this causes him to appear harsh, surly, and perpetually irritated with the world around him. His difficulty with forming attachments to other ponies (especially mares) piles onto this, but he's not impossible to befriend as long as you're as thick-skinned as he is.
Appearance: Dark teal coat; long, wavy brown mane; orange eyes; missing tooth on bottom-left row (only visible when grinning widely); floppy left ear (nerve-damaged from a foalhood accident)
