Photo: Cutie Mark: Personality: Metal is a kind hearted stallion who is loyal to his family and friends. Much like his parents and his sister, he enjoys helping others, whether it is simply giving them a few bits to get a meal or offering a spare room in his manor for them to stay while they get back on their hooves. He is enthusiastic about his music and performing, and is very generous, he is often found signing autographs for fillies and colts, also often visiting orphanages and the foal's ward at the hospital, with saddlebags of new clothes and toys for the little ones. He is very family orientated, considering his band members, Overdrive and Violet Skye as members of his family, protecting them with the same ferocity that he protects his sister Crystal Heart and his nephew Cinnamon. He is also a major romantic and is very chivalrous to mares and fillies. Backstory: Backstory 1: (usual backstory) Metal Fyre was born in Cloudsdale but moved to Canterlot with his parents when he was three years old. He grew up ina wealthy environment, but unlike a lot of the wealthy ponies of Canterlot, his parents chose to give back to the community by organizing and contributing to charity events, opening their manor to homeless ponies of all ages, species and genders, and by offering work to those who found it difficult to get work due to disabilities or lack of experience. He discovered his love and talent for music, mostly metal, rock, punk and ska at a young age of 8 when his family organised for a charity skating competition and he was invited by one of the bands to join them on stage as a birthday present (as it was also his birthday), he enjoyed himself so much, and did so well, his cutie mark appeared and since then he has been getting better and better at his music. Now, at an age of 27, and having finished college, he has formed the band "Hope for the Hopeless" with his mates from College and has become a well known stallion within the community and most of Equestria. His younger sister Crystal Hearts married a high ranking officer of the Royal Equestrian Guard named Seris Night-Hunter, and has a little foal by the name of Cinnamon with him. But during the Changeling invasion of the Royal wedding of Princess Cadence and Captain Shining Armour, Seris was killed doing his duty and what he loved. Since then, Crystal Heart and Cinnamon has been living with Metal in his manor, and Metal has become very protective of them, as he made an oath to Seris on his death bed, that he would protect them for ever. When Metal was only 23 and still in College, he lost his parents to a house fire, when they had taken in a troubled foal off of the streets, who was known to accidentally start fires when he was scared or frightened. it was their goal to help him control his magic and get over his fears, but one night the foal had a night terror that frightened him so badly, that he set the entire manor on fire. Metal's parents sacrificed their own lives to make sure all the other ponies, foals, mares and stallions alike all got out safely. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Metal, despite his big and kind heart and his devotion to helping others, he is still single. He has no real preference between species and gender, all he wants is a mare or stallion who will love him for him, and who will also be understanding of his sister and nephew living with him. He also takes his oath to Seris seriously, literally 'screening' any potential partner for Crystal Heart. Other: Backstory 2: (Post apocalyptic/Fall Out/S.T.A.L.K.E.R backstory) Metal Fyre was raised in Stable 113 as an orphan. He never knew his parents, and all that the adults would tell him when he grew up was that he was left at the stable door as a foal with a note saying "please look after him". He learned very early in life that only the tough will survive, and the bullies of the stable, also learned that a orphan with nothing to lose is a very, very dangerous target. When he turned 27, two foals were born, and it was a law that when a new foal is born, somepony has to leave the stable so it wouldn't get over populated, and this time it was his turn to leave, which he did gladly. He left the stable, with nothing but the pipbuck he was given on his 13th birthday, his makeshift sniper rifle, and a jacket that had the S.T.A.L.K.E.R symbol and tag on it, that he was wrapped up in when he was found. The other ponies at the stable made fun of him and thought he was crazy for always studying anomalies and all sort of artifacts, along with how to modify armor and weapons, but he did this, knowing that one day it would all be useful for when he has to wonder the wastelands of Equestria. Since his departure from Stable 113, he wonders around the wastelands, doing what he can to discover the meaning behind the symbol and writing on his jacket and maybe who and what his parents were. He doesn't let it hold him down though, as he kills any raiders he comes across and digs up any artifact he can find and risks life and limb to find them through anomalies.
