He looked down at her, looking a little worried. He kissed her head and pulled her close. "I'm so sorry I tried to hurt you, O. I'm so sorry."
She hesitated, her fingers brushing his chest uncertainly. “It’s okay,” she said softly. “It wasn’t you.”
She was silent for a second. “Just try to forget it happened,” she told him after a second. “It should be pretty hazy for you. Just try to forget.”
She pressed her lips together, saying nothing more for a little bit, closing her eyes as she ignored her pounding heart.
She opened her eyes, her face softening. “Of course I do,” she said quietly. “You’re my favorite person I know.”
She blushed a little before leaning over, kissing along his jaw gently. “It was such a special kind of terrible when you forgot,” she said quietly. “I can’t imagine you not being a part of my life.”
He blushed as well, tilting his head for her. "I couldn't imagine it either.. you're so important to me."
She slipped into his lap gently, pulling him closer. “Maybe this is all an illusion and I’m the one who actually forgot.”
