She looked up at him. "I don't believe you."
He shrugged slightly, standing straight and coming to the couch. "You don't have to."
She looked up at him curiously. "You're okay with me not believing you?"
"It doesn't hurt me," he said with a small shrug.
She rolled her eyes before opening her arms to him.
He laughed, coming around and sitting, taking her in his arms.
She laughed a little, sliding down and resting her head in his lap. “Perfect.”
He stroked her hair gently, going quiet.
She looked up at him worshipfully, her eyes soft. “You’re so beautiful, Abes.”
He laughed embarrassedly, looking down at her. "Thanks.."
"Really," she insisted, reaching up and stroking his jaw. "You're so beautiful."
He leaned into her touch quietly. "..I love you."
She sat up a little, propping herself up on her arms to kiss him. "I love you too."
He laughed a little, leaning back after they pulled away. "Want to watch a movie?"
She considered this. "What movie?"
He shrugged. "Let's look."
She reached across his lap to grab the remote, handing it to him.
He flipped on the TV, looking through stations.
She rested her head back in his lap, turning onto her side.
He looked for a bit before settling on a comedy.
