A bright sun crests the mountains to shine over all of Equestria. A quite ordinary morning, save for a select few ponies. Heart Star, a saddle orange pegasus, stretches her wings and hooves casually on a small poofy cloud. Her cutie mark is a dark pink heart with a multicolored star trail shooting into the center, representing her talent to touch the hearts of ponies by communicating with their spirit relatives. Polishing her glasses, she blinked groggily at the golden rays shimmering down, to catch a glimpse of Rainbow Dash practicing her next flight routine. 'Gee, she's up early.' Heart thought. Following the colorful trail as Dash dived, she spotted a glimpse of something sparkling at the forests edge. 'Hmm...I guess it a little adventure wouldn't hurt.' She fluttered down and started at a light canter, bringing her head lower and lower to keep the shimmering thing in sight. Eventually she got tired and half-flitted, half trotted the rest of the way. "Phew, finally!" Heart sighed, picking an apple off a tree and plopping on the ground. The object wasn't a set shape, and floated above the ground, undulating, seeming to emanate a few purple particles. The pegasus stared, fascinated, munching her apple contentedly for a moment.
Amethyst Gem, had followed her in and squeaked in surprise when a chicken came from behind a tree. It wad odd looking and Gem didn't realize it was a chicken till it spoke. "Okk.." she said confused. Gem was a white mare that fade to purple on her hooves and feather tips. Her cutie mark was a camera with a few flashes around it. She took her camera out of its case and took a picture of the chicken before her. "I wonder what else is here.." she murmured and continued on till she caught up with Heart.
Wings followed heart, needing a new source of love, starting to starve, he turned into a green unicorn & strolled into view, seeing the apple & rubbing his eyes
"Oh, hey Amethyst!" Heart garbled out, grinning, keeping her lips over her apple filled mouth. "Hah, I can't believe that's a chicken!" It must've come through whatever this...thing is." A portal maybe?" Awful blocky, huh...she thought. Something feels weird. Meh, I'll figure it out later. Noticing something green as the grass strolling up in the distance, she called out. "Hey!" (OOC: I just remembered, I was born in February, my birthstone is Amethyst. That's pretty cool. Random. XP)
"Ah, this?" I dunno, but guessing by the looks of that chicken it's gotta be a totally different world on the other side." Her smile faded and she tilted her head to the side. "Do I know you?" I've never seen anypony with such pretty green fur." The weird feeling was mounting on her, and she couldn't quite place it. He's just an ordinary unicorn, can't you see that? Snap out of it! Heart closed her eyes and shook her head as if refusing something. "My bad, must've bit down on a bitter seed."
"You probably haven't seen me, I'm from Fillydelphia…", wings lied, actually being from the hive,"and thanks for the compliment…", he chuckled
"Oh, uh...of course!" She blushed. "You can call me Heart Star!" Or just Heart, for short." I'm from Cloudsdale." She smiled and stood up, doing the pony version of a curtsy and extending a hoof.
Wings chuckled softly & shook heart's hoof,"howdy heart, mah names Majere, but most call me wings…", he explained, smiling
"Hm...Majere Wings." That's pretty cool." She giggled at his accent, and nodded slowly as if she liked what she'd heard. Unbeknownst to them at the moment, the portal near them was steadily expanding since it's initial discovery.
"Wings is just a nickname mah real name is Majere & ah don't know my last name…", wings sighed, looking down
Gem stood the side, taking pictures of the things around her. "Why is this all.. blocks? The chicken is blocks, the cow is blocks and I might have seen a green looking creature that started to hiss.." she shuddered and returned to the group. "Is that normal?"
Wings was completely oblivious to gem's pressance, still trying for a food source, thinking he felt something
"Oh um my names Amethyst Gem or Gem for short.." she smiled and took a picture, taking Wings by surprise. She giggled and lowered her camera, "Sorry.. the light was perfect around you."
Wings blank a few time,"ugh, ah'm not a big fan of flashin' lights…", he says, holding out a hoof,"the name's Majere, but please call me wings…"
Gem quickly put her camera away and shook his hoof, "Sorry.. ill make sure to ask first" she said, laughing nervously. "Its nice to meet you Wings."
Heart Star eyed him curiously, swearing she felt a tingling sensation run through her. What...what is this feeling? The cow mooing snapped her out of the trance for a moment, and she looked behind her. "Ah, my tail is gone!" She cried. It had phased through, and was on the other side of the portal. Heart jumped up, and her tail followed. "Phew, thank goodness.." she paused, "Oooh, look at it now!" You can see...land, and...is that a sun?"
"Hehe, I don't mind, I'm just glad you're--oh my god, you're made of pixels!" Heart exclaimed, mouth gaping, silently glad that Wings still seemed to look just as good. She then looked over herself, lifting one hoof, then another, spreading her wings and fluttering, then landing. "Everything feels okay...it just...looks so different!" How 'bout you Wings, are you okay?"
