"I do. I come here all the time though, so let's do what you want to do." She smiled. "Besides, it's kinda fun to see the reactions of somepony who's never been here."
"That's sweet of you." She smiled. "How about a store geared completely towards stuff you'd never see anywhere else?"
Nightshade nodded. "How about Eldritch Mart? They've got a little bit of everything in there." She pointed to the mall map on the wall. "It's the big department store by the food court."
"I'm gonna go there for sure. Just gotta make a stop first." Raven walked out to the shipping portals and studied them. "So... I just think where I wanna send these?"
"Yes. Just picture it, and the portal does the rest. The machine charges one *ŝ̵̵̶̷̢̫͈̣̈ͣ͒ͨ̅ͯ͆ͅċ̨͑̋ͫ҉̦͍̞͔͕r̄ͮ̐ͯͦ͗ͧͫ͏̵̞̘͇̯̳̦͚̹̘ë̷̢̥̬̯̥̯̗̯̦̻̦̱̲̞̮ͣ̓ͯͬ̐ͯ̃̆ͪ̽̾̓ͩ̈̂̓̃́̚ẻ̡͙͇͎̙͈̼̯ͦ̓̒ͣͮ̾̀* per item delivered, and deducts it automatically from your card.
"Can you uhh... hold on." Raven put her items through the portal, opting to send them to Maya's home alchemy lab, where she figured they would be safe, as nopony without a death wish would ever wreck that lab. "Could you repeat that word? Don't think I caught that."
"*ŝ̵̵̶̷̢̫͈̣̈ͣ͒ͨ̅ͯ͆ͅċ̨͑̋ͫ҉̦͍̞͔͕r̄ͮ̐ͯͦ͗ͧͫ͏̵̞̘͇̯̳̦͚̹̘ë̷̢̥̬̯̥̯̗̯̦̻̦̱̲̞̮ͣ̓ͯͬ̐ͯ̃̆ͪ̽̾̓ͩ̈̂̓̃́̚ẻ̡͙͇͎̙͈̼̯ͦ̓̒ͣͮ̾̀*," Nightshade repeated. "It's the name of the realm's psychic currency. It doesn't really translate into Equestrian, but one *ŝ̵̵̶̷̢̫͈̣̈ͣ͒ͨ̅ͯ͆ͅċ̨͑̋ͫ҉̦͍̞͔͕r̄ͮ̐ͯͦ͗ͧͫ͏̵̞̘͇̯̳̦͚̹̘ë̷̢̥̬̯̥̯̗̯̦̻̦̱̲̞̮ͣ̓ͯͬ̐ͯ̃̆ͪ̽̾̓ͩ̈̂̓̃́̚ẻ̡͙͇͎̙͈̼̯ͦ̓̒ͣͮ̾̀* is equal to about a bit and a half."
"So... sċ̨͑̋ͫ҉̦͍̞͔͕ ree? No. *ŝ̵̵̶̷̢̫͈̣̈ͣ͒ͨ̅ͯ͆ͅċ̨͑̋ͫ҉̦͍̞͔͕r̄ͮ̐ͯͦ͗ͧͫ͏̵̞̘͇̯̳̦͚̹̘ë̷̢̥̬̯̥̯̗̯̦̻̦̱̲̞̮ͣ̓ͯͬ̐ͯ̃̆ͪ̽̾̓ͩ̈̂̓̃́̚ẻ̡͙͇͎̙͈̼̯ͦ̓̒ͣͮ̾̀*. Was that right?"
"Work with my vocal chords a lot. Alright, let's check out that eldritch store." Raven excitedly trotted where the map told her to.
"Alright. I'll follow you." Nightshade flew low and slow behind Raven, and entered the store with her.
The store was laid out much like a Walmart or other big box store, a comparison that Raven likely wouldn't understand, but hopefully makes it easier for human readers to picture. One of the store's employees, a tall and vaguely feminine plant creature, greeted them. "¿ƃuıɥʇʎuɐ puıɟ noʎ dlǝɥ ı uɐɔ 'ʇɹɐɯ ɥɔʇıɹplǝ oʇ ǝɯoɔlǝʍ ¡ǝɹǝɥʇ ıɥ"
Raven nodded. She hoped she wouldn't have to speak upside-down to the plant chick. "Maybe. Have any cool space animals?"
The plant girl nodded. "¡ɹoolɟ ɥʇɟıɟ-ʎʇuǝʌǝs puɐ pǝɹpunɥ-ʇɥƃıǝ ǝɥʇ uo sı ʇuǝɯʇɹɐdǝp ʇǝd ǝɥʇ ¡ǝsɹnoɔ ɟo"
