For some reason I thought you were going to give us information about when Season 4 is supposed to air which is weird considering that Season 3 just started two weeks ago and has only had three episodes so far.

Many more seasons, many more, all even more ponier then the last, until the universe is no longer able to handle it, and is reborn....as the PONYVERSE! But yeah its been known for a whlile we would be getting a season 4, kind of like how we knew about season 3 half way through season 2 XD. Heres hoping Hasbro does the official announcement soon.
No, I don't think there'll be 39 episodes- I think that's more likely a reference sorta thing, that ya find about Wikipedia.
Its ok we have the comics from IDW Publishing to tide us over. Not to mention the upcoming Guidebook, as well as Picture books and quarterly chapter books (which yeah those are for the kiddies, but hey, so is the show) Sufficed to say I don't think the drought between season 3 & 4 will be quite as bad even if it is significantly longer, which hopefully it won't be. * I mean season 3 will end around late Jan or early feb at latest if they decided to skip a week or two* So hopefully season 4 will start around August/September 2013. .... Hopefully.
Idk, if you think about it, most TV shows "seasons" happen once every year, so if that's the case wouldn't it come out in November? Unless they only did 13 episodes so they could split up the season, like they do in AMC shows.
