Eluuna laughed too. "I find I'm lonely during lunch. Otherwise, yeah, it's my favorite too." she said.
When the class started, they were asked to partner up. It was still early in the year, so captains and sidekicks weren't designated. Shade flapped up to Eluuna. "Wanna team up?"
The instructor blew the whistle, and Shade was off in a flash of white, black, and purple. He made his way across the course, breaking up every cloud in his path.
A shriek came from Eluuna's throat. It echoed through the clouds, and they gathered around her. Whispers echoed, and the clouds shattered into thousands of pieces.
Shade raced to outdo her, but there were no clouds left for him to bust. It had happened. He was outdone. By a girl.
Eluuna looked at Shadow and gestured her head slightly. She looked above, and pointed. The Noctilucent clouds were the highest, and the most difficult. Only the best flyers could do them. "You got these. Come on. Almost nopony has ever done that before. You have enough skills!" she said, quietly.
