Tavish began to follow. "Yer not one fer talkin' are, you? It's alright. People say I talk too much, anyways. People, uh, don't often speak too kindly of me. I don't imagine anyone speaks kindly of ya, either. At least, to yer face... Er... Mask. Oh. By the way, I turn into a giant sword, in case yer wondering. People call my weapon form 'bloodblade'. Do you want me to shut up? I can't really tell, with he mask and all." he rambled, droning on for seemingly hours.
It seemed quite sudden. He was pretty quick for such a big guy. He slapped his big hand over the other male's mouth, put a finger over where his mouth was... or at least, would've been, were it not for his mask, making a hushing gesture, and then... A quick pound over the head, with enough force for Tavish to feel all the pain, and not get knocked out. It sure did put him down, though. Mason sighed under his mask, the eyes that could be seen showing that it was quite obvious that he wouldn't hesitate to commit homicide. He took a big hand, and started dragging his new... partner... with him to the banquet.
Tavish stared at his feet while being pulled along by his meister. "Sorry. I... I get carried away a lot." he managed to mumble. "Sonya," Venin began, sighing "do you think that anything like what happened with the Kishin's gonna happen again? I was pretty excited to be here, but I've been worrying a while."
(Sorry again for responding so late,I was asleep the whole day.) "Well, huh…I actually never wanted to be here…my parents sent me to a random school so I could physically socialize with people but apparently talking with people via my computer doesn't actually count as socializing to them." she stayed silent for a bit before asking. "So,Wally…what weapon are you exactly?"
"Well, I won't be too intrusive with you if you don't want me to be." There was a flash of blue light, and Orange transformed into a shield fastened to Karani's arm. "Don't let this appearance fool you. I hurt quite a bit if you smack someone with me. The bears in Canada seem to think so." He gave a hearty laugh and transformed back. Sonya looked a little bit worried for a second, then said, "I haven't even thought about that. But if something does happen, I'll protect you. I'm sure you'll do the same for me."
"Shield…well no offense but I hoped for something a bit more on the offensive side but I could use you like…what was that Americans called him?Oh yeah,Captain America! I'm just not really acquainted with American things like that Captain America dude…I just saw a video of him and that he used a shield."
Venin smiled. "Of course. A meister has to protect his weapon! And a weapon has to protect her beautiful meister!" he said, pointing to himself. "I wonder if our food is nearly done... I think it's been a few minutes." Tav silently went weapon form in Mason's hand. The giant red blade seemed to glow in the laughing sun's light, with the curved edge burning the brighest.
The food had now arrived at the table. Sonya took her fork, and stuck it into one of the snails, and put it in her mouth. "This isn't actually that bad!" She mumbled while chewing. She swallowed. "You should try some!" She passed the plate to Venin. "It is part of your culture, after all!"
Venin grabbed a small snail and chuckled lightly, before hesitatingly eating it. "Huh. It's pretty good. I always imagined it tasting like... Gold. Gold that's been soaked in fancy wine and the tears of the poor." he said, after swallowing. "What do Kishin Eggs taste like? You've had one before, right?"
"Really? Kishin Eggs make weapons sick? I heard they taste good. It's a good thing they don't feed us them, then. I couldn't imagine what it would do to say, a meister. Maybe if a meister ate 99 Kishin Eggs and a witch soul, they'd become a weapon. I might try that, provided I don't become a Kishin. I wouldn't imagine my looks would stay..."
"Well, the first egg they eat. It's probably an acquired taste. I heard Maka's weapon, Soul, I think it was, loves the taste."
The big man didn't really seem to look, but he could see what his new weapon looked like using peripheral vision. This he was content with, a big sword that looked like a really big version of half of some scissors. He also like that it was big. He could work with this. He dragged the heavy weapon, scraping the ground as he trudged to the food. Not too many minutes later, he could smell that he was close, being right beside a rather large pair of doors. He opened one, and entered...
Venin began to hastily eat his burger. "Speaking of, uh, weapons, I suppose... Where are you from? I only really glanced at your picture and name. I only had to make sure my weapon was up to par. I couldn't be seen with someone ...unpleasant."
"Nottingham, England!" Sonya cleaned another snail off her plate. "Unpleasant? What do you mean?" Wallace thought for a second. "Well, I grew up in Northern Canada in a wooden log cabin, and I usually came down to Toronto to visit relatives around Christmas and Thanksgiving."
"Maybe 'unpleasant' was the incorrect word. Uh... Not of my standard of beauty.Pas de mon niveau de beauté, if you will." Venin clarified.
