Spring pulls his weapon from his bags, while staying atop the carriage. The weapon looks like a sharpened steel spike with base fitted into a complicated device of gears and valves and dials. "This is all rather exciting Mr. Faire, is highway banditry very common along these roads? I've never left town before, so this is all a bit new. Or do you think these might be agents of Davenlork sent to waylay us?" Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Imp quickly unsheathed her short swords and attacked the nearest enemy. Her horn flashed as she cast her breif blinding spell on him. He stumbled as his vision was obscured for a moment, giving Imp the opening she needed. Quickly, she brought both short swords across his neck, slicing his throat open. "I claim the loot on this one!" She cried, already whirling to fight another Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
Blue Flame attacked the nearest bandit from his position. He had but away his pistol, seeing is how he didn't need it, he instead attacked with his great sword, barely missing the bandit as he tried to dodge it. He had a nice little cut across his eye, and it seemed to be old, and Blue Flame saw that he would protect his face more rather than his body. Blue Flame decided to take the advantage and attack, aiming for the bandits head. It worked he blocked the attacks that were being thrown at his head, and seemed careless of his torso. Blue Flame had the bandit against a tree, and as he was about to block the attack from his head. But Flame had other idea's, he stabbed the bandit through the chest as another came up from behind and hit Blue Flame across the back of the skull with his club.
Laissez hurriedly reloaded his pistol, jumping out from around the tree before ducking as a bandit swing at him. He fell back and wasted a shot on the bandit, shooting straight through the chest as he scrambled back behind the tree. "Only three more left, and yes, this is probably common Mr. Springs!"
The bandit took a step back, waiting to see the larger pony before him fall. Surprisingly Blue Flame didn't fall, the hit only made him angrier. He took his great sword from the dead ponies chest and slowly turned. The bandit charged at Blue Flame again, swing the club. Blue Flame sliced the wooden weapon in half and stabbed the pony through the throat. The bandit was trying to get air, but realized he couldn't. Blue Flame pulled him closer, his mouth right next to the bandits ear, "Hush now, there is no need to fight anymore. You are dying, and no ponies is going to care." Blue Flame whispered to the pony before he shoved him off of the sword.
Imp sidestepped and narrowly avoided one of her current enemies attacks. She saw an opening and slashed open his belly and he collapsed. The second charged her. She began to leap out of the way but he anticipated her dodge and knocked Imp off balance. Her swords fell to the ground at the impact. He managed to hit her in the rib with his sword hilt before she ran her horn through his chest. She pushed him off and winced at her newly bruised rib. The ponies blood had soaked her horn and already crazy mane. "This is going to take forever to get out!" She grumbled, then picked up her fallen swords. She turned to the fight again, now favoring her bruised side. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
As Imp charged back, she saw that all bandits were slayed! Laissez reloaded his pistol again and peered out, seeing the same. "Oh, good. They're all dead." He slumped down against the tree, tree to fix his mane.
Noting the corpses scattered about, Imp smiled a bit and sheathed her weapons. She began to loot the bodies of the ponies she'd slain, wincing a bit when she bumped her bruised side. "Well," she said through a small pouch of bits,"this was certainly exciting."
"And your saying that it will take you a while to get blood off of you," Blue Flame said looting the ones he had killed. The whole front of his coat including the face was covered in blood. He searched the dead bandits thoroughly, making sure he leaves nothing but their weapons behind.
Imp snorted, a smile playing at her muzzle."its not a contest. Well both be scrubbing blood out of our manes for a week" she continued to search the corpses, in a good mood from the nice amount of loot she was acquiring.
Lupus would have eventually plodded back, up to the Carriage of Ponylessness! "You know... next time. You should send more than just me, to investigate something. I almost had by head, become something resembling a doughnut" She complains, sitting in the carriage, stuffing trying to get her weapons back, or cleaning herself off~
"Oh quit yer complainin'" Blue Flame said some what nicely. He reached a hoof to the back of his skull and removed the hoof, seeing blood drip from it, "Luckily, that club wasn' as sturdy, or else ah would have died. But, that doesn't matter." Blue Flame could feel the pain in his head, it wouldn't go away. But, as always, he would try his best to ignore that pain, wether he liked or not.
Imp sat down gingerly, done looting, and looked herself over. Other than some minor scratches and the bruised rib (which hurt but was bearable), she was in good physical condition. She wiped her swords clean with her battered cloak. "You certainly can take a hit, Blue Flame. " Imp commented, a hint of respect in her voice.
Laissez stuffed his pistol back into saddlebag before trotting back over the carriage, surveying the area littered with bodies. He shivered as jumped back on to the driver seat. "Let's... Let's get going..."
"Thank ya', try having you entire skull cracked open and then repaired while awake." Blue Flame said nicely, "You know how to take a hit as well." He said with a hint of respect in his voice.
Imp nodded in return, getting up and making her way back to the carriage. Her side stung as she got in. She glanced back at the battlefield and frowned"Its a bit strange that they attacked that way. I've done some roadway robbery myself but this was different. " Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
"Hmph, they were amurtures," Blue said acknowledging Laissez, "They could have set a trap up more better, but no, they had to do something this stupid." Blue Flame said as he turned from the dead bodies in disgust, and got in the carriage feeling dizzy.
Imp nodded, still frowning. "I suppose incompetence on their part is as likely a reason as any..." after a moment she shrugged. "Well, their loss is our gain I suppose."
Lupus nodded, just sitting in the back of the Carriage, getting over the point where she was almost killed... totally calm... totally~
Blue Flame was trying to ignore the pain, but it grew and grew. By now there was probably a large blood stain on the seat. He didn't feel right, as in he was feeling woozy to the point of just closing his eyes. He started to close his eyes, but shook some of the wooziness off. His back felt wet, he felt like crap, and the pain was getting worse by the moment. He has had worse though, bleeding out wasn't good, but his wound would dry... in time. That is if he doesn't die first.
