She stared at him before teaching forward and tapping his nose. "..You're lying."
He wrinkled his nose, clearly not a fan. “That... I’m going to actually leave you alone for that.”
She grinned, her whole face brightening again. "I knew it."
"But you weren't quite sure," he countered. "You thought you knew it."
She nodded, going back to her spot and sitting down. "True."
He squinted at her. "I don't quite know why they woke me up instead of you."
"You can go back to sleep if you want."
"No, I'm awake already," he said flatly.
"Ah, well. Next time."
"They're going to wake me up again next time," he griped, frowning.
"Not if I wake up first."
"Oh, you will," he said darkly. "You'll be well-rested."
She laughed. "Yup."
He stood up, brushing off his pants, looking up at the sky. "I hope it rains again today."
"That would be nice.. Do you think it will?"
He frowned, considering her question. "No, probably not..."
"Hm," she murmured, looking thoughtful. "We'll see."
"The first thing I'm going to do when we get to the City is change."
She sighed at the thought, looking hopeful. "Yeah. And take a shower."
"And sleep in a bed. Can you imagine?"
