He clenched his black rifle, his white knuckles turning bright pink. He blinked, noticing the other passengers. "So, why are you all fighting?" he asked.
Moquerie couldn't stop squirming in anticipation. ''I'm here to kill all of those dumb living creatures. They used to think we, noble creatures, were to be feared and rejected. I can't wait to kill legally, or at least show them what we're made of! I'm Moquerie, by the way.''
"Eis Strum." Eis responded, smiling. "Ah... I love this weather. So cold, so perfect." he said, with a small sigh. "If only this place had forests, this would be just like my homeland."
Serin sat on the seat, and stared dejectedly out the window. She wore a wide brimmed hat, and watched with golden eyes.
Eis Strum frowned. "So you're fighting just to fight? That's barbaric! Savage! Some of us have siblings to feed!" he said, angered.
She gave a little sigh. "I'm sorry to have offended you. I was trying to make a joke. Apologies." she said softly, tipping her hat.
Eis shook his head. "I-I'm the sorry one. Sometimes I got a little hot headed. I'm too passionate, everyone says. I apologize." he bowed. "Please, forgive me."
Serin hissed as a ray of sunlight touched her skin. She pulled away, and inspected the burned area. After a moment, she looked up, smiled, and nodded. "Forgiven."
The large dropship landed in the middle of a snowy battlefield, with a large military base in he distance. The Lords of Night were commanded to their possitions. Eis Strum stood alone, waiting for his new comrades to come around so they could follow him into the base, while he picked off human soldiers with his rifle.
Moquerie jumped out of the dropship, and then realised how small he was. He slipped in the snow, the cold under his feets surprising him. He managed to simply roll backwards, and stand on the landing deck of the ship. He threw a few inentelligible insults at the snow, the world, and the fluctuation of the price of souls in the abysses, and then prepared for combat. He placed his hands on the ground, a magic circle appearing on them. They glew a bright yellow. A gothic-looking doll emerged from the ground, and floated a few inches above the ground. A wave of dark energy pulsed from her, and a human falled to his knees, throwing up blood. Moquerie danced happily, commanding his puppet to target other enemies, slowly catching up with Eis Strum.
"Hey, kiddo. You in the "special battalion", too? I heard there are more of us, or whatever. I don't really remember." Eis asked, launching a flurry of icicles at a charging human. "We're supposed to charge that base."
Moquerie giggled. ''Then, make your way there! I'll follow you, and make sure the others have a safe route!''He suddenly stopped to move, and his puppet looked at him. ''Wait, have i said something that had some... Sense? Forget what i said! Kill them all! With Fire!'' He summoned a fireball, and threw it at an upcoming human, laughing at him when he received the fireball in the stomach. His puppet, however, tried to make a safe route between his position and the dropship.
Eis sighed, and switched his Sniper rifle out for a pair of two black, sleek revolvers. "Right. Clear a path, storm the base." he mumbled. "I love storms."
"Let's go, guys!" Eis screamed, rushing forward, blasting away any humans in his path. "Let's go, let's go, let's go! C'mon!"
Moquerie took cover behind a rock, and summoned another puppet. The magic circle opened and revealed a zombified rabbit, wich immediately dug under the rock. With the help of his two puppets, Moquerie lifted the havy mass. The rock slowly rolled, and almost rolled over a human. But Moquerie's target wasn't the human: it was the long slope that lead to a group of humans, who were trying to make a plan or something.
(Dreamer, you gonna chime in soon?) Eis paused. "Wait, I think we might be missing someone!" he screamed. "There's gotta be another person!"
Serin swooped down upon an human and bit into their neck. He screeched, and ran to clean the wound. Serin chuckled darkly, and landed, and began to move extremely quickly, and throwing in heart stopping punches.
