"Yay!" Lemon cheered, clapping energetically. Morrow, a kind, compassionate pony, opened her mouth to speak. "That was lovely. I assume that's your special skill?"
Altonia and Heverin both blushed. "I play viola. It actually is my special skill." Altonia said. "I.. umm.. I.. Singing isn't my special skill, but I do enjoy it." Heverin said shyly. She had only revealed her cutie mark to one pony, and that had been Ash. She had showed it to him when they were having their wonderful date after she got infected. She had thought that since she was dying, she might as well share it with her long-term boyfriend. Altonia and Morrow started chatting away, but Heverin walked over to Lemon Drop. "We didn't officially meet did we? Anyways, my name is Heverin." she started out with a weak smile.
Lemon blinked happily. "I'm Lemon! That was soo cool, the way you went, 'Maoooo!!!' and like, totally rocked that piece!" Morrow walked over towards Lemon, to calm her. "Lemon dear.." she began. A loud moan interrupted her, and a zombie pony sunk its teeth into Morrow's neck.
Heverin and Altonia were the first to scream. Heverin grabbed Lemon, and told Altonia to grab on, quick. Altonia did, and she flew off. The zombies were breaking in. She yelled at Ash to grab Skullduggery. Altonia yelled,"And please grab Aqua, too! Alto had her viola on her back, so the flight was extra hard. But then she imagined having to carry Skullduggery, and regained her strength. Lemon started crying. "It's ok, dear. We're heading to.. sanctuary. Nice and fun.. sanctuary." She swallowed her tears, because there was no sanctuary anymore.
"No, let go!" cried Aqua, and her horn glowed. A wave rose, and a few of the other ponies, along with Aqua, floated in the sky. Lemon thrashed. "MORROW! MORROW! DON'T LEAVE ME MORROW!" Eventually, she gave up, and hung sobbing. "Fly into the city, towards the keep! We can have shelter there! Hurry!" commanded Aqua, her eyes flashing. While normally a shy pony, she could obviously take control when she needed.
Heverin, not knowing Aqua well, was very scared and turned a sharp turn, which almost made Lemon and Altonia fall. Ash saw where she was going and decided that he would catch up.
