He frowned, rubbing the back of his neck and looking pretty unsure. "Okay.. Let's tell the guards, then."
Firo crosses his arms, heading back to the gate as well as the cart before gesturing to the two guard. They were wearing royal armor, but it was what looked to be a half-orc and and an elf.
The half-orc looked down at her gruffly. She would be able to see his amber eyes most prevalently. "How can I help you?"
She stammered through the same explanation she gave Firo. "I-I think I let a criminal loose, sir," she said, sounding really panicked. "An elf, I think... shaggy brown hair. He was blindfolded, but I took it off. He was underneath the castle. I didn't think he would run, please..."
The guard looked confused, squinting before looking over at the elf, who also shrugged. "Er.. Alright.. We will send some people out to investigate."
"No, you don't understand," she said helplessly. "I think I did a really bad thing. He was alone down there and he was locked up. I think he might be really dangerous."
"We have no knowledge of anyone in the crypts," he said. "It was sealed off. If you found anyone down there it likely wasn't under our jurisdiction."
"Okay," she said, sounding very concerned. "I... I'm so sorry. I was just... I shouldn't have let him out. I'm so sorry."
The elf waved it off, trying to sound reassuring. "It's okay miss," she said quickly, "he very well could have been victim to some.. gang, or something."
She seemed to cling to this theory, nodding a little. "Okay. Okay. You're right. Thank you both for your help."
They nodded, and one turned to leave, going to inform someone to investigate. Firo hopped up on the cart, frowning slightly. "Work everything out?"
