Jay was peacefully making a water rune in his cottage for his rice crops when a knock on his door was heard. Hearing that, he lowered the chisel on his workbench and went to get the door. Looking thru a window next to the door showed a black maned and white coated mare on his doorstep. "Strange" he thought, "I wasn't expecting nopony today". Casting that thought aside he greeted the mare with a smile on his face.
(No offense but could we perhaps start in a town or anyplace else where I actually would have a reason to be. Having me just randomly show up at your house is both creepy and weird.)
Hazy was casually wandering through the streets of Ponyville. It were still early in the morning and most other ponies were still asleep, though she couldn't understand why anyone could sleep through the sunrise. There were a few clouds in the sky but other than that it were a beautiful morning.
Jay was walking towards the Ponyville Market with his merchandise in tow. He yawned and was checking his price list, kaking sure everything was in order. He wasn't checking where he was walking when he bumped into a mare. "Aah!" wa the only thing he said while falling to the floor and some of his veggies falling to the ground.
(I thought your character was mute) Hazy looked at the stallion that were lying on the ground and rolled her eyes. Nopony could be so weak that they actually fall down by bumping into someone else. "Are you okay?" she asked, somewhat sarcastic.
Cleaning himself while standing up, Jay nodded in response to the mare's question. Hearing the tone in which the question was said, he was looking down while picking up the fallen veggies. Finishing putting everything back in his sack, he gave her a carrot while smiling sheepishly in a way of saying sorry.
"Thanks but no thanks." Hazy said as she gave the stallion his carrot back. "Judging from the fact that you fell down just by bumping into me, you need it more than me."
