Well, these are some nice (ok, ok... AWESOME) vectors you made! Especially the Apple Jack one, but that`s probably because of personal "predamage" :)

These vectors are...just... I can`t describe the awesomeness...
(Especially AJ, but that`s probably because AJ is "my favourite", but, well...)
You do such good work! Really!

I seriously think your work will help upcoming comic artists (and of course other people, but I associate vectors somehow always with comics first) a lot! Here, have a cookie!
    Have a nice thursday!

    Greetings

Well, that seems like something that can`t get any better anymore. Perfect work my friend, perfect work.
And of course a little bonus because Sweetie Belle. ::S:

But, please. Never do such a big vector of Baby AJ. That would instantly kill not just me, but probably many many many other people.
On the other hand, that would be one awesome death-cause. Well... Your decision. Not mine. And that`s good.
    Have a nice saturday!
    Greetings

Damn Yeti, those are really nice!
I'll be honest, I used to not have a lot of respect for vectors (it's just tracing right? :derpe:) until I tried to do a couple myself, that's when I learnt there's quite a knack to clean, natural flowing line. I was terrible at using too many lines and having them come out all bumpy lookin' lol!

Doesn't seem to be a problem for you though, to my untrained eye they all look practically flawless. Cool to see you're trying some shading now too, if I can give some criticism though, it does look a bit awkward, too 'stiff' if you will.

Just below the hair and above the eyes the shading all seems to be the same width (or at least very similar) this tends to give the illusion of the hair being 'raised' above the head rather than sitting on it. This goes for the other areas as well, just the hair is most notable, I think if you try to vary the intensity and coverage of the shading more it would give a more overall natural look.

OH, and highlights! Lighter than normal areas are just as important as the shaded areas.

Can't wait to see your next shaded vector /isinlovewithshading

EDIT: Also, out of curiosity, have you considered doing any scenery vectors? Could be fun for a challenge.

I have no idea how you do things like this, but seriously, this...this...
Also, the shading turned out nicely! Seems to fit!
Greetings and a wonderful day/evening everypony!

    mane shading fixed.
As far as highlights, since light is kinda diffuse from one point, I don't think it's needed much here.
areas that are not shaded are lighter, so that kinda helps the effect.

as far as scenery vectors, they take a lot of time, so idk if I'll be doing them anytime soon.

    mouse, keyboard and ponyscape.
    any thanks :)
