Anyone else hear about the hackers? GNAA hacked the Bronystate livestream, and many others. They also tried to blame /v/. Text was: "Hacked by /v/. U MAD [censored]"

Oh, and did you see 1:58 of the episode with Scootaloo?

Plus, she's from Manehattan, and has a Boston accent? That bugged me the entire episode. Still, the ending was pretty great, especially with that joke with Diamond Tiara.

8.5/10 for that episode. Will now be one of my favs.

    what is this hacking thous speakest of?
    just now I was on MyLittleBrony.com and this was first voice of any hacking.
    I was watching on Midnight Run's channel (as always), and everything worked just fine and I watched episode live.
    I guess Midnight Run wasn't attacked, so I didn't notice anything.

    well, from what I have heard on MyLittleBrony.com is that BronyState and HaxMega were hacked. Some say that more channels were hacked, but idk.

    They are also responsible for organising the take-down of several....vulgar and adult pony tumblr blogs shall we say. The underage stuff I totally agreed with being removed but for other things...some of those artists make a living off of selling their art online.

    the GNAA has taken a ton down but a few have come back. Molestia, Jay, Futashy. All it took was people to fight back.

    As for the underage stuff and adult blogs in general. If you don't like it don't look at it. If it's still an issue. Black list the tags with Tumblr Savior or whatever. Problem sloved, Ja.

    When I saw the screencap of the hacked livestream, it amused me.

    However, I don't think that this should be made into a big deal. These hackers want attention and they want to troll you. If enough people worry about it, then they'll have a reason too attack again.

    I hate to say this, as I'll probably sound like one of the annoying bronies, but love and tolerate guys.

    You're telling me lol, I was someone who fought back.

    With the whole tumblr saviour thing, it's not that I mind it, if people are into it...whatever, it's cartoon animals, but I can understand why they'd be taken down for underage content, I wouldn't exactly argue in favour of it.

    I see no issue with it or anything for that matter. It is not physically hurting anything. I totally understand why they were taken down. If tumblrs rules say no underage it does apply to all things. It's not like there aren't places to upload it.

    The GNAA was also responsible (back in the day) for taking down some of the musicians on YouTube. The one I clearly remember them getting taken down was Alex S. It certainly caused quite a panic for a while, as several of the musicians scrambled to make backups of their songs and put all their videos to private. Fortunately, it didn't seem to last long and the channels that were taken down just made new ones.
