I am frustrated. My only experience is in janitorial work, and nobody seems to need an extra janitor, so that doesn't matter. I try to apply at a grocery store, and there's much older people applying for the same job, so I'm *squee!*ed on that front. Nobody needs a brave guinea pig for any uni experiments. And all the while, I'm being told by my family it's my hair, despite near everyone in my town having grown out hair.
Wow! I know exactly what you mean. I've been in the same position for a few years. My best advice is to not only stick with it but to think about moving outside of the box and looking where you wouldn't expect to find something. Maybe an apprenticeship or a desk job you didn't know was there.
