I don't know who should be more ashamed of themselves in all of this; McDonald's, for screwing up so badly, or the Rick and Morty fanbase, for rioting over a DIPPING SAUCE.
Either way, I'm a little pissed as to how McDonald's handled the whole thing, so they've lost my business for a while.
Definitely the R&M fan base. Even if McDonalds didn't lie about where it would, there still wouldn't be enough, ergo, there would probably still be riots.
McDonalds is still at fault, though.
I actually got some of the sauce and it was damn good. I don't think the stuff at Target is the same, though, similar to how McDonalds Tangy Barbecue doesn't taste the same as normal barbecue sauce.
And strong agree, McDonalds was quite unprofessional, lying to there customers like they did. They also should have realized that the Rick and Morty fan base is incredibly... ahem, lets say "driven", in place of something more rude, and also incredibly large. They should have made more Szechuan, because it's kind of their fault.
They realized there mistake and are bringing it back for a whole season over a day, so they at least fixed it. I can respect them for that, a lot of resturants would just say "lol sorry dog but we're huge, if nothing else u'll come back kids meals for ur kids. u'll be back soon, lol".
