He looked at her, before kissing her cheek, leaning down to wrap his arms around her. "Not as beautiful as the person next to me."
She sighed, turning onto her side. "I guess."
He gave a small smile. "Me too. I'll have to tell her."
"I was right?" he asked, clearly a bit distracted.
She turned her head. "The way you feel guily.." she said slowly. "I just don't want you to feel that way."
"With Callie?" He tilted his head. "She's just caught a cold. That's all."
He watched silently, his eyes wide in awe.
She gave him a reassuring grin before laying back, watching the ceiling with an odd look.
"It does," he said with a nod. "Luckily I have the car, too, since Callie won't be heading out."
He looked up as they ascended the stairwell, occasionally glancing at her with a soft grin.
She squinted at him, but there was amusement in her eyes. "Don't tell me what to do."
Landon stood. "When are we doing this?"
