Hi All! My five year old son and I are both fans! We've seen seasons 1 and 2 numerous times on Netflix. Numerous. I think my wife is a litte jealous. I'm PhD candidate in Childhood Studies at Rutgers where I study, well, American Childhood in Children's Media and Culture. I'm also chair of the Children and Childhood Studies area of the Mid-Atlantic Popular and American Studies Association and I'd really like to have a panel of academic papers on MLP at our next conference in beautiful Atlantic City, NJ! I'd be interested in work on fans, bronies, animation, kid's media...just about anything! If anypony here does any such work, that's great! If not, I bet somepony here knows somepony who does! Please let me know! The conference is Nov 7-9 and proposal deadline is June 14. You can find more into about the conference and our complete CFP here: http://mapaca.net/ Thanks!
Did you know a large majority of the people who are fans of MLP FiM are also fans of LPS? (Littlest Pet Shop)
There is ZERO truth to this statement. Dammit, Zoe, would you PLEASE stop trying to cram LPS down our throats?
A friend of mine did a term paper on Bronies which included questions and responses from a thread that I made somewhere on this forum a long time ago... Here you go. Feel free to peruse this at your leisure. http://www.everypony.com/forums/showthread.php?7878-Questions-For-Bronies I hope this is helpful and constructive, or at least amusing.
All of this. Well, I'd say a small percentage at least. Everyone I know except one watches LPS and that is a lot of people. Anyways, welcome to the site. I don't study into that but I do take an interest in the psyche of everyone else. Why people watch, hate, or ignore MLP is one of my favorite topics because there is a lot more behind it than it just being a good show.
I made heart pony picture things Where would I fit in this boat? Anyhoo, welcome to EP I'm sure you'll find someone who meets your needs here, just look around a bit
