as many who have come before me,i have decided to do game reviews, mostly first impressions and playthroughs, yet sadly cannot think of a game i could start off with, and before anyone says it,NOT MINECRAFT theres way too many of those so does anyone have any ideas?
Sadly, we're at that gap in the production of new games so you may find it difficult to find a game that hasn't been reviewed dozens of times because there's been a long period with no new games. If I were you, I'd pre-empt which game you would review before it comes on sale. However, I recommend Rayman: Origins :derpe:
pre·empt or pre-empt(pr-mpt) v. pre·empt·ed or pre-empt·ed, pre·empt·ing or pre-empt·ing, pre·empts or pre-empts v.tr. 1. To appropriate, seize, or take for oneself before others. i cant buy games before its realesed well since ill be getting diablo 3 for free, seems i have a lead
It really depends on what kind of game you really want to review. Maybe try reviewing the last game you played.
so minecraft? but its kinda been done alot, ooh i should do a playtrhough/review of mass effect 3 when it comes out,or maybe skyrim
Mass Effect 3 is an example to do a review/playtrough, the demo has just being released maybe you can try it out. Skyrim despite being a mostly good game (in my opinion) is basally just too huge to do a playtrough.
I think you could try focusing in the games not many people have played or not many people want to play. I honestly believe a game review should serve the purpose of showing people good games they haven't heard of or to keep them away from the bad ones, there's literally no point in reviewing games that have half a million reviews because at that point it becomes simply an opinion among mountains of opinions whereas one might prefer a light being shed on something unknown. You could dip into some old games as well, such as Link's Awakening, or Mischief Makers.
This should help: http://penny-arcade.com/patv/episode/game-reviews I recommend watching all of these, they're great stuff. Made by bronies too
Demo?0.0 WORKYUMUSTSTARTNOW?! I'd suggest perhaps steam indie games, they don't get much love </3 Sent from my GT-I9000 using Tapatalk
I would like to suggest a game or series that has meant quite a lot to you, perhaps your childhood. As such, I've LP'd the entire Metal Gear Solid series emulated on my computer (except MGS4 of course), as well as Crash Bandicoot 1 through 3. If there is none that you can think of that means a lot to you, just do one that you have enjoyed playing, whether it be a long time ago, or recently. Blind LPs are probably not a good idea for first time LPs. I know you said you want to do game Reviews not LPs but I think my points are still valid.
yeah im gonna do lets plays and first imprrssion pieces of cheap indie titles ,or sometrhing like that, first i have to get my hands on a decent mic
