The last episode I saw was Lotsa Luck. If there's been a new one since then I can't find it anywhere to watch. I liked the Lotsa Luck one since it was about Pepper. She's such a cute little skunk, but then again, skunks are pretty cute anyway even if they aren't animated. A skunk is the one animal I always wanted to rehabilitated but never got the chance too.
The episode that came on recently was titled Door Jammed I recommend you look for it on either the Petshopappreciation channel or Apple Jerry's channel.
Watched it a few hours ago. I'm not very fond of the episode. I much prefer an episode with more interaction between Blythe and the pets and they're starting to do 2 stories now which I don't really care for. I've been watching all of the episodes on Apple Jerry's channel.
I personally don't see anything helping at this moment in time. People just aren't aware enough, which disturbs me that they aren't making an effort to protect their freedoms. I try not to get too obsessed with politics because it's become so stressful. I watch the news and can't help but face palm and shake my head is disgust. My neighbor watches nothing but MSNBC, CNN and Fox. I don't get how the man doesn't have ulcers. I use to write to my senators often about topics, so much so they started knowing me by first name. I think because people are so blind to the sorts of policies that are taking effect and they have the us vs them mentality (not just with terrorism and immigration but also with fellow citizens) so ingrained that they don't think about how spy cameras, drones and wire taps will affect them.
I do worry about immigration because many of my friends are immigrants and when I was going to college (I can't afford it at the moment), I tutored immigrant students in American customs. I'd write them emails, look over their homework, we'd go out in public places and I'd help them learn to communicate and get more comfortable with interacting with strangers while learning English. I heard so many stories from them about how they saw moving to America as the only opportunity they had to make a better life for themselves. I had a couple friends who were citizens but were new to the country, they had their laptops seized because it was suspected they were 'terrorists' because they were middle eastern. They of course were cleared but it traumatized them to think they were unwelcome when they were trying so hard to integrate. I try not watch the news or any sort of new coverage. I read about bills going through, I write about them to my senator. But I try not to obsess unless I think it's vitally important. I'm trying to reduce my stress given I get ulcers easily. My family has been in a bad economic state, especially for the past few years where we've almost been homeless a couple times if it hadn't been for help from my grandparents. I'm working a little bit now, but my hope is that things will get better economically. My goal is to get back to college ASAP, I miss it terribly but it's just too far out of my budget even with grants. My friend is very handy with building things, we're floating the idea around with building a small house for me so I don't have to worry about rent and they're are plenty of lots out in the country going for cheap, for me to buy and build on. http://www.tumbleweedhouses.com/products/enesti/#ad-image-0 Not having to pay rent would be helpful given the rent gets higher and higher every year where I live. I'm just trying to simplify in order to survive better during these hard economic times.
I don't blame people one bit for moving and I envy them for being able to afford getting out of here. I wish I had the money to move out of the US. Most of the people I know are in the same situation as myself in that they couldn't afford moving across town, let alone another country. If I had the money though, I would move ASAP. I'm tired of the US and the hateful attitudes. I want to move to a more progressive country, like England- or I'd even settle for Canada right now. I think it just shows that even Americans are losing faith in the "American Dream" and trying to move somewhere they think they can improve their life. I do know of a couple people who moved to Canada for health reasons. I'd like to move to England though because I have several good friends there. That's one of the many reasons I'd want to move out of the United States besides the fact I'm pretty much sick of the government. I have many chronic health issues that aren't taken care of here under any program, just getting some assistance with that would make my life tons better.
Anti my friend I thought the song from yesterday's episode was just ok or decent what are your thoughts on the song Vinnie's Tail from the episode Freniemies?
I think it was probably my least favorite song, but then again, I'm not a huge fan of Vinnie. I probably like the Sweet Shop song the best. I did think it was funny how shiny they made his little bum LOL Also, little tap shoes are always cute. I remember caring for a couple Geckos that lost their tails and they aren't nearly as cute.
My fan love for shows comes in waves. While a show is off season, I usually have another favorite show waiting in the wings to allow me to obsess over. I'm excited for the final episodes of Futurama- I am however completely horrified that it's being cancelled again after this season. I think I'll challenge myself this summer to write some children friendly fanfictions. I've never written MLP, LPS or POM (Penguins of Madagascar) fanfics, I think I'll give it a try in between working on my books. - - Auto Merge - -
Being a fellow LPS fan would you like to join this fan forum http://www.littlestrpg.proboards.com/ that me and several other LPS fans on this forum have also joined Anti my friend?
Have been gone for the off season of MLP: FIM. I usually am gone when it's not on. But the show shall come back soon and I've been jonesing for ponies.
I don't think I'll join right now, maybe later. - - Auto Merge - - If it's white sand beach with no crowd and a nice sunny spot for me to lay, I'm there.
