He knew that's what made him special. His ability to act and talk in front of others. Many years later he applied with the castle to be an ambassador and report back on different cultures. The Princess knew there was only a few places left to find out about, so she sent him on a recon and ambassadorial mission to a different dimention. the human dimention.
