Not that anyone here is particularly likely to have heard of me but it's Caberea here. Before anypony goes off at me about it, I found out about Friendship is Magic from Furaffinity, when they had a mock banner of it. First of all, I would llike to get things cleared up that I am not a furry, I simply found Furaffinity as a place to post up my poetry, music, and some scraps of story writing. Now that that's out of the way, I am a rather new Brony, only been one for a few weeks. I like to game and have a steam account by the name Caberea as well. I'm into poetry, music, reading, writing, and art, though I fail horribly at art (except for one piece of abstract art that I got lucky with) and am not so good with music. I've found myself incredibly interested in the FiM fanfics in particular and I though I haven't given many a read so far I would have to recommend The Lingering Nightmare to people. It's a tad on the dark side but is very interesting though it is also a very long read, so be prepared to go in for the long haul if you want a read of it. I'm also working on my own fanfic but if anyone out there needs help writing their own fanfic or just wants a review on theirs send me a message and I'll try my best to help. So now I come around to what the title was about, I live out in a small town in South Australia, and am currently in high school. I've got a couple of brothers, one of which I've gotten to join the herd, the other not quite a Brony, but likes the show a bit. My parents are "okay" with me being a Brony but aren't exactly thrilled with the concept and I haven't found a single person at my school who isn't a hater. I've dropped a number of references about the place and had no response to them at all, with even the mention of FiM causing them to hurl insults at me. So on a less saddening note, I hope that I can do my best to help out everypony and be a valued Brony.

Hey there, Caberea. Even if you were a furry, I wouldn't care. Here at Everypony, we pride ourselves on the virtues of love and tolerance. We have a very diverse community here, some of which include furries in it as well. So, there is no need to worry about such things. Sorry about your situation. I, too, am a lone brony where I am. Then again, I've never revealed my bronydom, and I don't intend to. I'm just not the type of person that reveals his interests so easily. With that said, welcome to Everypony! welcome Caberea... i have heard that name before somewhere, i just cant tell where. anyways welcome to EP, my name is nomad, i go by Skyraze or sky, but i prefer nomad or sky. i am what i call a "recovering" furry. i used to be a furry but hated the concept and hated the internet fandom. there was too many trolls and the name "furry" has bad rep to it. i am not trying to beat down on any current furries, i am just not a fan of the furry fandom any more. its great that you hae joined us. ^_^ you said you have steam right? what is your steam name? i would like to add you. btw, i am promoting this software because it needs better publicity. www.evolvehq.com the software is beast! its 100% their own creation. its a mix of X-Fire in-game, Hamachi Party Network, and Steam community groups. its amazing as hell. heck btw, have you heard of www.deviantart.com ? its an awesome site to put your work on, i find it easier to navigate and seems more convenient.
