You are actually correct that this isn't a game. I've studied game development.. stuff related to analysis, theory, and design may occasionally mention the formal different between a game, a puzzle, and a toy.. I would call this a toy as odd as that may seem. It's definitely not a game, but the main reason it still qualifies as at least a toy is that it induces a playful mindset.. I'm sorry though I'm guessing this isn't what you wanted to hear about. >_< Don't worry I normal study the more technical side of game development as well as computer science.. so I'll stop.
