It descended until it touched the earth. It grabbed a massive handful, creating a large crater. It began to fly back up to the sky, with it's load in tow. Then, for a moment, there was nothing. After the moment had passed, thousands of identical hands threw themselves downward, grabbing more and more handfuls of dirt. "We have to stop it!" Nya called out, ascending from the Overworld. She landed on a forest, and sighed. "Sorry..." she mumbled to the animals under her hooves. She drew her swords, grinning.
"Now, now... there's no need to rush him. He just arrived here and is getting a FEEL of the land. Wouldn't you agree Demitry?" Serketh and his son walked slowly out of the ground, till they were standing on either side of Nya. He flipped his dagger in the air a couple times, while Demitry remained motionless and silent. "He's not one for jokes... Honestly, dear old sister, do you really think you could fight that thing alone?" He smiled slightly before stashing his dagger in his jacket.
The hands ceased to grab chucks of dirt. From the portal, a large, pulsating white orb dropped from it, the hands forming a tangled maze around it. Each hand had a large, gaping maw upon each palm. Each time the mouths opened, a blast of purple flame fired from the hole. "Qua'Nahk, the World-Burning Glutton." Nya murmured. "We gotta smash it, and quick!" she charged it, screaming as she ran.
"Always one to rush into a fight, as always... Mayhaps she'll CALM DOWN if we make her see her little animal friends in danger... Now how many of you things are mentally stable?" "Enough father... Just do it." A small army of animals and Serketh walked towards the charging goddess and Qua'nahk. "She always goes in head first... No thinking. Nature is just... dare I say it... RUNNING ON INSTINCT. Hahahaha." He suddenly took on a dark glare. "NYA! Stop now or I kill your animals." he yelled to her.
a dark portal opened up behind them. Stepping out was a muscular man with a black runic helmet. "What business calls upon me to leave my black throne." Xenthos then spotted the beast and pulled out rationem infernis, his two pronged spear which in mortal tongue meant hell's reckoning
"Y-You wouldn't!!" Nya called to Serketh, turning and stopping. One of the pale, white hands grabbed her, and began to lift her into the air. "Gah! Bastard! This is your fault!"
"Morons without a plan... Guess it's up to the anti-hero to save her. Demitry! Please grab some food for me while I do this, father is absolutely starved." Demitry vanished, and Serketh stared at Xenthos. "Please tell me YOU aren't going to get captured also? You ARE the god of the UNKNOWN!!! You must know that having no plan of attack is suicide..."
"You Forget, I am the only one of the Gods who can harness and be totally immune from dark magic, I was born and molded by it. So, basically..." His fists and spear began being surround by a black aura. He raised the spear and threw it. Before chasing after the spear towards the monster. "You did't give me enough time to charge in before asking."
"See, no. This is what I was talking about. You charged in. Whats your plan? smack him with the spear while resisting HIM CRUSHING YOU ALIVE! Immortal doesn't mean immune to physical harm... Not worth the effort of arguing... Guess it's my turn to have to just blindly beat up the ancient deity who CAN MURDER EACH OF US WITH HIS GIANT HANDS! Hands aren't dark magic. Hands are gripping. And crushing. Now I could understand if... like... that Hercules character was here, because he's super strong. We aren't... At least I can't get crushed, so... I'll just save you guys when you are about to die." He sat down and pet a small rabbit. "Go ahead Nya, have at it, I'll leave em be..." He sighed and put his other hand on his face. "I can't watch this..."
"You haven't been or experienced the Underworld at all have you. You'd be surprised at how much brute strength has allowed order in the chaos. Of what many mortals and the rest of the gods like you don't understand. Also charging into war doesn't always mean there is no plan". He then continued charging, grabbing the spear and holding it in a position ready to stab. "Beast of the darkness, why do you torment the living when you can torment those in your realm of being." He began trying to talk with the creature. Making himself look different from the other gods by making sure he was radiating more dark energy than usual.
Nya screamed out in rage, and freed her arm. She began to slice the beast, until it threw her aside. She charged again. "I know one thing, you'll never get anywhere just sittin' there! You gotta tackle your problems, before they tackle you!"
