So, another one to celebrate the upcoming "Avengers: Age of Ultron" movie: who is your favorite Avenger and why?
Loki, cause he's to blame for the Avengers in the first place and joined the team in the pages of Mighty Avengers in the guise of Scarlet Witch.
Iron Man, 'cause he's the only one who really made himself into a superhero; the others just had stuff happen to them. Plus his suits are cool, he's flawed, and therefore more relatable , and Tony Stark's the only person in that list I'd actually want to hang out with.
It really is a bizarre pool to choose from.. I dont even think stature official made it to "thee" avengers
I was thinking the same thing. That's why I mentioned Loki, really I was doing it just to be funny. I think out of all the Teams of all the Continuities, I'd say J2, Spiderman, and Spidergirl all about tie. Loki and Vision/Young Vision are close at second. Ooh Katie Power in third even though she was only an Avenger for one Mini-series. Actually she did. All the original team of Young Avengers were considered Avengers after the Age of Heroes started but Stature and Young Vision were a part of the Mighty Avengers that Hank Pym lead as the Wasp. It was same team Loki was a part of and also included US Agent, Quick Silver and Amedous(sp) Cho. I think and I could be wrong, but Hercules was on that team too. I'll have to check Wiki to refresh my memories.
Spider-Man Even though he was an avenger for a short time, he's still my favorite superhero ever! And his relationship with Tony Starks is pretty cool. They've actually announced that they are going to make "civil war" and Spider-Man is a very important character in those comics so I really hope they put him in. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Er, no he was not an Avenger for a short time. He and Wolverine ended up as Avengers for several years. From before the Civil war and up until Doc Oc took over his body. I'm not sure when Wolverine stopped being an Avenger.
Oh! I always thought he was with the avengers for a while, then left only to come back again when they needed him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Nah, he was a member for quite a while it was one of the reasons I started reading the Avengers titles. Mind you I stopped again in the middle of the Heroic Age. The Heroic age was okay but not really my cup of tea.
I'm pretty sure he quit being an avenger when he died, but up until that point he seemed to still be a somewhat active member in the avengers, particularly in avengers assemble. Yep, captain america 3: civil war, and with sony and marvels new deal to share the spider man property its looking more sure that'll he'll still play a key role in the film.
Ok, just to clarify: -I based the poll on the 5 core Avengers: Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Captain America, and the Wasp. The other five are partners of said heroes who are also Avengers: War Machine (Iron Man), She-Hulk (Hulk), Bucky (Captain America), Valkyrie (Thor), and Stature (Wasp) -I can't cram the current MCU roster in only 10 options -Loki is a villain and a member of the Masters of Evil. Thinking of him as an "Avenger" is wrong (and no, the "Axis" storyline doesn't count, and neither does the "Kid Loki" storyline) -Spider-Man never died, he just had his body switched with Doctor Octopus, and that was recently undone.
Sweet! I can't wait!!! Wonder if they'll use a new actor to play spider man?! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I meant wolverine had died, I'm also very sad doc ock isn't spider man any more, it was very entertaining to read As for the new spider man films it looks like he'll mostly get recasted as Sony was not very happy with andrew garfield, as well the are planning to reboot the spider man films again
