He was recently charged to organise a group of his finest men to protect the representatives.
Snow smiled, not so much at Ashes, but more about her masterpiece, "You will have to wait like everypony else to hear it in full. Now, we shall make our way to the meetting hall." As they left, all it took was a simple wave from Snow and the doors where opened, I sure am glad I'm the lead unicorn, Snow thought.
Ashes followed Snow like her shadow. "Should i enter with you, and try to make my 'magic' without be seen, or tr go with the other unicorns, and hide in the mass?"
"Whatever you think would be best." Snow said, "And after my speech, and your magic, I have a little something in mind to help drive home my point." But if it doesn't work, we could all end up dead, Snow thought to herself.
Hibiscus arrived outside the town hall. He checked the times and noticed how insanely early he was. 'Wow!' He thought. 'I got to town in record time! This day is perfect!' He trotted through the door and clambored into the earth pony risers. The only other ponies present were two earth ponies and a group of four unicorns. No pegasi had arrived yet. Hibiscus sat patiently and waited for more ponies to arrive.
(Like i said to form this thread all are welcome join in whenever they want during the story. and for finals being over with i have to say "yay" lol anyway) Ice steps towards the new pegasus in which he was just following for quite sometime "I am the representative of the pegasi here in this great city in the clouds for the conferences with the other pony tribes. I carry the burden of the pegasi here so i kind of feel protective of them, they are kind of like family to me... distant though they be... but still family." Ice explains to the pegasus. "Now what is your name, fellow pegasi?" Ice asked.
( woah. This better works.) Ashes smiled. "I'll go with you inside, and sit next to you. If you can drive the attention of the other ponies, it'll let me do my magic. Good luck, Chief."
"hello, sir, I am lieutenant cobraheart of the pegasi guards. I believe you have been told about my orders of myself leading a group of 5 pegasi elites as your own personal guards during your meetings"
(that was towards moonbeam not you cobra sry i did not make that clear, but i can make this work.) Ice is startled by the new pegasi that appears behind him and started talking to him. "Oh sweet cloud city! Don't scare me like that. Anyway yes i have heard the orders that i will be getting a guardian at some point just was never told the reason why though. Its nice to meet you lieutenant Cobraheart." Ice said.
Snow and Ashes came up to the meeting hall, "Well, it looks like we are early, but nothings wrong with that." Snow said as they went through the door. As Snow walked towards the table, that one earth pony who had confronted her caught her eye, I hope he hasn't said anything about our encounter, but he looks strangely happy, so probably not, she thought. Snow took her seat, and took out her paper that had the speech on it, holding it at an angle were nopony but her could see it. After going through it in her head, she folded it back up and placed it back in her hoof pocket. In her mind, she began a mental assualt on the darkness inside her, hoping to calm it down, just to be sure.
Ashes sat next to Snow, and whispered: "Remember to drag their attention completly, or the spell i'll use works only when the targets ignore it's active. I'll wait until the last leader as took his seat. Good luck with your speech~."
"?... My name is Moonbeam. Ancient Moonbeam. I come from a far distant city, though now decimated. I wish to enter this new society of yours. And, if I'm not being too overbearing, I wish to join your royal guard. Where I come from I am quite the warrior. I would like to prove myself if I may, representative Ice." "Lieutenant Cobraheart, I wish to be a part of this guard, if only for tonight, as a means to prove myself to you all." Moonbeam bows before these two ponies of obvious importance in both respect and as a plea for acceptance.
"Alright. I don't see... " Ice suddenly pauses in the middle as he hears the cloak tower chime in at the half hour and he turns around and sees that he needs to get going if he is going to make it on time. "Ok then you two are supposed to protect me well i got to get to the daily meeting now! So both of you come with me." Ice said hurriedly as his wings open up.
"moonbeam, I cannot just let you into The elite guards, you have to prove yourself to my superior commander hurricane. Maybe at the next meeting we will meet again" Gives directions to the proving grounds to moonbeam. "sir, I believe we should get going. I will gather my men and meet you and the other representative there."
Hibiscus glanced towards the door to see Snow enter the building and head straight for the center table. He was thinking of waving at her, but caught himself. That would be odd, an earth pony waving at a unicorn. What was he thinking? He looked at the ponies near him, but none seemed to be making a move for the table. 'Looks like I have to do it again today.' he thought. Getting up, he said "I'll represent today. No, I'm not going to get drunk at the table this time." He trotted down the stairs and arrived at the table, where he sat in the middle section of it. The pegasus representative had yet to show up, so they couldn't begin. Hibiscus opened his bags and rooted through the stuff until he found a carrot. Popping it in his mouth, he waited.
Snow took a deep breath, she had to get ready for what she was about to do. After her speech had distracted everypony else and Ashes magic calm them down, she would cast it. But she knew this was the most dangerous spell she has tryed to cast, she's tried it only once before, and ended up making the evil that now resides in her mind. One false casting part, and this was likely to lead to an explosion of epic porpotions, killing them all and destroying anything with a little more than a mile's radius (Or 1.6 KM for our friends outside the US). She took another breath and pushed the thought out of her mind, I cannot think like that, she told herself, but it was very true, an essence seperation has long been considered the most dangerous spell an unicorn could cast.
Before snow cast the spell the doors swung open and the Pegasus representative ice and lt. Cobraheart and his elite guards walked in. Cobrashy adjusted his sword and helmet, ready for what commander hurricane told him to do, his orders were stop any magic that would be harmful to ice.
(Timur doesn't seem to be here anymore. How odd that I always end up alone in RP's like this ._.) Hibiscus spat out the carrot he had been eating and jumped backwards. "WOH! What's this!?" he screeched. "Are you insane? Drawing upon arms in this room is illegal, no matter what status you have. Put that away before you hurt somepony!" He glanced around nervously. The pegasi had all shut up to watch the spectacle, the earth ponies were outraged that weapons were in the neutral ground, and the unicorns were all panicking. "Get out before you cause problems!" Hibiscus shouted.
(Um, Snow wasn't about to use the spell Cobra, maybe you should read the posts a bit better) Snow grimaced at the guards, "You are in voliation of Tri-tribe Resoultion 2, No armed guards shall be allowed in Tri-Tribe meetings to prevent voilence, all unwilling to follow can be ejected by any means nessacary." Snow recited, "Now, have your guards leave their weapons outside so we may begin, before I get rid of those weapons personally."
