Here is a world map. I originally found it of a 'Alternate History' forum, so I made modifications to the map for this RP. Any possible settlements, nations and so forth are left to your imagination. I'll recreate this map when there are enough people interested to include different territories and so forth.
So from the look of things the teams going to consist of: -A bounty hunter -A nationalistic (and somewhat racist) Fiancée of a dictator/guard -Militaristic wanderer -Mutated technomage tech buff

[MENTION=4513]Starnsy Warnsy[/MENTION]'s character background, and the background of my own character, are going with two completely different versions of what happened to the North American continent after the disaster. Also, we really need a timeline for this. I've been writing based on at least a hundred years having passed since the disaster, but I have absolutely no idea what baseline everybody else is using.

Prior 1994: Real world history, the asteroid named ‘D7X228 Prometheus’ is discovered in 1989 on collision course on earth. Earth’s nations unite and put away past differences to unite against the end of the world. America fires an extraordinarily powerful Nuclear Warhead against Prometheus, which fails to destroy the asteroid but changed its trajectory to mainland Asia instead of the projected Pacific Ocean. Desperately, all nuclear nations on the planet fire their entire global nuclear arsenal at the asteroid with little to no effect. May 18th 1994 ‘The Divide’: Prometheus makes contact 150 kilometres away from Ulan Bator in Mongolia, vaporising anything within 400km from impact. Impact causes earthquakes measuring 9.0 on the Richter scale from as far as South America, while the Earthquakes in Asia reach as high as 14.0 on the Richter scale, causing 170m tsunamis to island areas such as Indonesia and Japan. Seismic activity also triggers multiple powerful eruptions world-wide, the largest being at Yellowstone in North America. Alongside the earthquakes, tsunamis and volcanic eruptions, Prometheus itself destroyed heavily reinforced buildings as far as 1000miles away. Ocean levels rose, entire mountain paths shattered like glass. After this catarophe had passed, over 3 billion had perished in Asia and eventually due to the ‘Great Winter’ caused by ash debits, 97% of the total human population had died out. 1995-2023: Within this period, mutations in some humans had begun to occur. Some were born with exceptional gifts, while others had mutated entirely. Neko’s had appeared not long after this period, but their origin is believed to have been a mystery. Other different ‘mutated ‘races had appeared, from gigantic yet intelligent titans from Siberia, Human’s that share different animal characteristics (Where the Neko are believed to originate from) in Europe and various other races. Many do not know if these races were artificial or natural. While the effects of the Divide have ended, the ocean level has risen by 85ft, leaving some areas of the world underwater. Nature, or what is left of it, is returning by this point. The majority of civilization has collapsed as well, making the world a dangerous place. The seemingly mythical city of Elysium is believed to have been founded by 1995. 2023-2080: Settlements, City-States, Nations and other pockets of civilization began to pop up across the planet. Either write a reason for her to have traveled to Nipton Port, and have her meet the group there, or just wait for everybody else to come to her. It shouldn't be hard to come up with an excuse to fly the party to Britain.
I'll wait. I feel it will give a nice change of scenery for the RP instead of spending the whole of it in America. You could come across a bunch of hellwalkers. As I did say she sent them across Europe and america to recruit more for her Empire building ways.
Yeah, so I cant really do much with my character until you guys actually leave america for the old UK. Seeing as my attempts at interaction with you guys have sort of fallen flat. So pm me or mention me when you get around to it.
