I know that I am not the only one here who has a friend in a band. (My friend's band's name is Today In History, and they're playing at Sound Stage in Conway, Arkansas this Saturday.) How many other ponies here have friends in bands or are in a band themselves?
I have some friends in bands. The two that I go to see often are Reclaiming the Ruins and Anxiety Society.
Soo i was in a Short Project called Nagra doing Death Metal, well it was just some weeks and we had one song we never recorded... I have actually a lot of Friends in Bands: So there is Knaat, the biggest Concert they had was before a croud of around 2000 people this year. Pagan Metal Then we have Eiswerk, the are smaller but also had some awesome concerts. Then theres the Band Ad Nemori (their original name was my dying horizon) I think they do deathmetal... Also some awesome concerts. And one band is called Moratorium, but they never played live, by now. That are all that come to my mind at the moment
A friend of mine plays guitar and keyboard in a church band, if that counts for anything. Yeah, it's a church band, but he's pretty good.
A friend of mine is the lead guitarist of his band. He writes his music, and the bassist's, iirc, but I don't think he writes the lyrics. Can't think of the name right now, but I'll ask him. I haven't yet gone with him to his band practice, but his girlfriend thinks I should go since I'm music a enthusiast and she feels I could offer some critique if needed.
I have a band myself. My band's name is HATEdotCOM. We're making some kind of death / thrash metal, I guess
