    Guys. My parents found out that I was a brony and they were NOT happy about it. I am posting this from my friends house while things cool down at home. I guess they found out by the McDonalds ponies that I bought last weekend; I left them out on my desk when I left to get a haircut this morning, like an idiot. I walk in the living room and my parents are sitting on the couch looking at me funnily and they ask me to sit down. They pulled out my Pinkie Pie and asked me to explain. I told them the truth, that I was a male fan of My Little Pony and that the fandom was pretty much all grown men like me. They didn't buy it (they watch Fox news too often). My mother told me that she would love me unconditionally regardless of my sexual orientation and would not listen to me when I told her that I wasn't gay. After a while of me trying to convince her, it broke out into a bit of an argument and my father would not ''take that kind of lip'' from me. I ran up to my room and locked myself in, frustrated as hell. My parents didn't like that. I guess they thought that I was going to do something stupid, so they took the spare key to my room, opened the door, got on the floor, and everybody walked the dinosaur.

    Oh man, I'm super sorry. My parents have always been cool about me being a Brony, so I don't really know what that's like.

    Maybe they'll come to their senses and realize that reacting to one of your child's interests in that way is immature and silly. Not that I recommend you use those words.
