One day I will be profound/prolific... As for now, I'm swamped by thesis work, so I can't really delve deep into conversation. :C Got an interview in half an hour for grad school stuff. ... actually, I should go change for that... Also, you will soon learn that I overuse ellipses terribly. But yeah, hopefully once the craziness subsides I can actually post some of my art/animation stuff!
Ah good...seems I'm not the only one who uses ellipses too much...heh... Good luck with your interview!!
A-ducking-greed. Quality over Quantity. The only reason I don't do these fancy schmansy posts is because people say them before I can; and I don't want to duplicate a good post.
General Chat Thread : That one place where we can't stick to one topic for more than two pages. This get REALLY fun when you check this with large intervals... Also, short posts? Hah! Short posts are for people that write short posts! ... Like me, really.
I'm pretty sure half of my posts are just made up of youtube vids used to reply to other people...
Roughly half of my posts were from "Text Games" sub-forum. Then I moved to General Discussion after 1,000 posts or so.
I just want to clarify something. I didn't say there was anything bad about short posts. I was just saying that no matter what kind of posting style you have, don't focus on the post count and those other things I mentioned. That's all. I'm glad you guys post the way you do. If everyone made really long posts, it'd be pretty annoying I think. I prefer to have the group of diverse posters we have here. If what I said looked like I was saying short posts are bad, then I apologize. That wasn't my message at all. Besides, if everyone made long posts, I don't think some of you would think my posts were special. :derpe: I don't make long posts all the time either. I play some of the forum games (have even made a few of them myself), and sometimes I have a lot to say and sometimes I have very little or nothing to say. Nothing really mysterious about that. I'd say maybe only about 10% or 20% of my post count actually accounts for the so-called "tl;dr" type posts. So roughly 105 to 210. That's just a guesstimate. I don't really feel like going through over 1,000 posts to obtain an actual number, heh. A lot of mine are also in the Introductions subforum. So no, short posts are not bad posts at all, and I'm not saying long posts are always better either. You can sometimes say things in a few words, that may take others, like myself, a lot more words to say. So, I just want to reiterate, that's not what I meant at all. I meant no offense.
This. As proof, I will summarize the above in two sentences: If you thought I said short posts were bad, I didn't mean that. For one thing, if everyone wrote long posts, this forum would be unreadable. See?
^Why, thank you, good sir! Would you care for a crumpet? Not that I am in possession of such a pastry, but it would be intriguing to know if such a preference arose.
Crumpets, mm... Anyhow, I felt excruciatingly tired for the first two classes today. Maybe I should go to sleep a little earlier.
