As Many know, Halloween is approaching on 31st of October and we Dress up and go Trick-or-Treating.

When I was a kid, this was a Awesome holiday to dress up as something scary and go around to house to house yelling out "Trick or Treat."

Most of the time I would get a Treat and sometimes, I get tricked. The other fun part was that you would go out when it was Dark outside around 8 or 9 and you would go out till midnight and eat candy afterward. Me and my Friends had a blast each year and it was fun. Good times. :3

Nowadays, I can't even enjoy this holiday, I mean what happen? Nobody in my neighborhood, right now, didn't puts up decorations, or lights or anything. We have a lot of new kids in a neighborhood but nothing to show on people houses. These past few years have been this way and bums me out that we only had 4 kids last year. It blew my mind when my mother told me this. Big neighborhood, 4 kids. Come on, Man.

There is a curfew of 5pm to 7pm. What?!?! It's not even dark yet. I know that the police made it clear for this but come on.

Halloween Sucks but I like to hear what you guys think of this Holiday.

I agree it is not the same anymore with all this crurfew stuff

fun fact in 2007 daylight savings time ends in the begining of November instead of the end of october now. The bill was supported heavily by candy companies :3

Heh. I lived in America for 2 years when I was small. My family and I didn't celebrate it over there, and we don't celebrate it at all now that we're in Australia. It's sad, really. What's so bad about letting a kid have fun? I wish I'd gotten to trick or treat when I was younger. Also, I find it amusing that my mother isn't too concerned about cosplay, but on Halloween she is strongly against it. xD

    Halloween.

I do nothing for it, and I have never done anything for it.

Many people here didn't do it much and that includes me.
For the ones that did, I got out my reaper costume + scythe + brutal voice to scare them off.

What Halloween means to me: 12 year olds going around town getting into the 'bars' while in costume. K.

I have to say now that im older i really love helloween...

When i was a kid i lived in a small village like 150 or 200 people and i knew the names of everyone, it was normal. So it was awesome to go trick or treating cause you knew everyone and got a loooot of candy. That was around age 7. Well as i grew and was about age 10 more and more people forgot helloween :< Less candy but more tricks to do...

By now i live in te city and my first year here i was really surprised... No kids. Not even one was out there trick or treating. I know my neighbourhood is not that good, but really no one? Not even with their parents?!

But it is okay for me, cause since im older, me and my friends build a little group with a theme. Last year or the year before that im not sure, we were out as pirates strolling through the inner city with a huuuuge black pirate flag and lout pirate metal music. Just enjoying to be dressed up and partying :D
For this year im trying a group of genosajis from "The murderer with the really inefficient weapon" :D

I have my Phoenix Wright costume.

I'm sure my reputation around the neighbourhood will scare away all the kids on my own =P

The curfew is purely silly, we have on where I live as well. It's quite ridiculous, curfews don't even give kids the time to enjoy themselves. Halloween used to be the most fun, but not it's become some botched holiday that just supports paranoia. If parents would go out with their kids, there wouldn't be a real issue. But alas, Halloween has been stripped of all enjoyment. Though admittedly, there are some really fun adult events I get to go to now, zombie walks are amazing.

I have a poopy costume (skeleton bought for £15 from local shops) because I was going to go as the Underwerewolf (inspired by AVGN) but the werewolf suit didn't come in my size :(

But I've never been a fan of Hallowe'en... Bores me.

I've never celebrated Halloween before. But I know what you mean about people decorating their houses. Around Christmas time, there used to be this one house that would make an amazing display of lights outside his house. But about 5 years ago, he stopped doing it, since it got too expensive.

When I was a kid we had 3 separate nights of candy-grabbin'. Now I usually just hang out with friends and order pizza. This year however, I've decided to dress up and do a little candy-beggin' for the first time in 5 years. Then I can hit up the stores the next day and get the candy 75% off.

I still go out to get candy. I'm only 18 years old. If even one adult will give me sugary, artificially-flavored snacks, I'll consider it a success.

I would go with my parents and grandparents and brothers when I was little. Now I just grab a friend and we walk around like we're the chillest thing since dreamsicles.

Also, I'm being Dr. Horrible for Halloween.

It's a step up from trick or treating, these cupcakes use a thick icing, sugar glass and some blood red food colouring, it looks amazing.

it was fun trick or treating as a child. Now that I'm older, its just fun to see what people dress up as.
