Tommyspud, from the midwestern US. I'm a fan of video games, anime, professional wrestling, 80's and 90's cartoons, Science Fiction, roleplaying, and, most recently, MLP. Truthfully my whole introduction to the series was somewhat weird. I hadn't watched the series outright, instead just browsing Youtube and stalking stuff like JHaller's top ten pony videos of *insert month here*. Through that I watched many many PMVs and such, never actually touching the series. The community reminded me of other communities that I've been a part of, at least creatively. One day, about 6 months ago, a friend of mine who watched the series asked me if I'd watch the series ever. I said no. He asked me why, I said that I'm busy a lot, with my streaming and video game playing and the other communities I'm in. So, he badgered and eventually got me to make a deal with him. Considering I was trying to get him to watch Japanese Wrestling(New Japan Pro Wrestling) as well, we made a deal, we'd watch a big match from NJPW and an episode of MLP, once or twice a week. It would only take an hour or so, which I could take. So, months passed, and we both liked the thing we were shown. He started watching NJPW, and I got him to sign up for their streaming site, and well... I started watching MLP on a semi-regular basis. Looking back on it, I liked stuff like She-ra and Powerpuff Girls and Sailor Moon back in the day so I shouldn't be surprised that I liked this too. Haha, I'm off on a side tangent, my apologies. Thank you all for reading this topic.
Greetings, friend. Welcome to the Everypony Forum. I'm am this forum's lovely and playful Changeling Queen~ It's a pleasure to meet you~ <3 Honestly, you and I could get along with some of the things you mentioned. I'm a major PPG fan and I use to watch Sailor Moon pretty avidly... well among other series like Thundercats and DBZ. I'm a major 90's cartoon enthusiast for sure. Johny Bravo, Dexter's Lab, Looney Toon(The original), among many more. Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy being in my top faves for sure. In anycase, I do hope you enjoy your stay and if you'd like to get to know your fellow members better. Go ahead and give the Forum Games section a oggle. A lot of the more active members tend to post there on a fairly often basis.
Haha, I started watching the show a bit ago just because of a friend, but I'm nowhere near current. I've got to catch up. Thanks for the Welcome. I do like animes like DBZ, Saint Seiya, .hack, stuff like that.
Hello there and Welcome to this forum. I am also a fan of anime as well. Mostly english dubbed though. Technically, I live in the midwest as well. Similarities between you and me aside, I do hope you'll be able to enjoy your stay on here. Make sure to keep up with Season 5 too!!
