(You may begin when ready, I guess.) Kid Flash awoke on the planet's surface. His vision was still rather blurry, but he could make out the outlines of his comrades. "Wh-What... The hell happened?" he asked to no one.
Lissa was suddenly skittering in a circle around him. "Crash landing. Very rough. Engines shot. Enemy came down after us. Probably very dead as this planet not advanced. Not advanced at all. Hehehehe." She turned quickly to look up. "I estimate... 300 hundred till this planet is capable of helping us repair. But what do I know. I just fly the ship." She rushed back over to the group before he could respond.
"Ouch." Chesh woke up to find herself trapped under several tons of burning debris and molten metal. The pain in shoulder told her that it was dislocated, and the HUD of her helmet told her that she had less than five minutes before the heat melted through her envirosuit and killed her. It was the worst predicament she had ever been in, but it certainly wasn't a pleasant way to start the day. She attempted to extricate herself from the wreckage, but found it to be impossible with her injured arm. She checked the HUD again. Less than a minute left. She sighed, and spoke into the mic. "Activate Emergency Protocol One-One-Six-Dash-Two. Range: Point Five Kilometers." The emergency teleport that she had built into her suit activated, sending her a half kilometer away from the wreckage. Her suit, too damaged to repair, stayed behind. Chesh watched sadly as a massive explosion tore through the wrecked ship, as her beloved envirosuit's power core went critical. Still, she was alive, and only slightly injured. After forcing her shoulder back into place, she began searching for other survivors.
Kimlasca woke up on a boulder, she uncomfortably moved around...She couldn't see a thing. "U-ungh..." she groaned, she felt the back of her neck and what she could make out was blood; "D-damnit..." she said under her breath and struggled to stand, falling over a few times her vision was blurry, all she could rely on was her touch and hearing yet, she could make out two blurred blobs in the distance she waved her arms with all of the strength she had left "H-hey! Over...H..." she limply fell over after too much of her blood was lost, struggling to see. "Hopefully...They heard me..." She thought, as her whole body made one twitch.
Kid Flash paused and gasped loudly. "Holy. Crap." he said. "Check out that bird! It's so colorful! Do you think we can eat it?"
"I don't recommend. I do recommend you go find allies. Try not to burn too much... Oh, who am I kidding. You'll just forget. Just don't... run too far away?" The explosion from Chesh's armor echoed around them. "I will be back. Please don't get lost." She immediately turned to the sound and took off running.
JA-N37 laid powered-off out in an open field, surrounded by wreckage. A faint spark jolted through her circuits. POWERING UP...RUNNING INITIALIZATION PROCESSES... Her sensors, stylized as her eyes, began to glow faintly with a yellow tint. More of circuits began to power up as she slowly began to power up. sparks began to fly from disconnected wires in her left arm. INITIALIZATION ERROR... RUNNING DIAGNOSTICS... ERROR FOUND: LEFT ARM NOT RESPONDING. MANUAL CALIBRATION REQUIRED... CONTINUING WITH INITIALIZATION... INITIALIZATION COMPLETE. Her body jolted upwards for second before landing back on the dirt. Her senors began to record everything, processing her surrounding visuals and sounds. she reached over with her working arm, rewiring her damaged limb. What happened? She scanned her data banks, looking for a recording on what happened but only reaching corrupted files on the what should've been the files of the event. After her armed was rewired, she gave small punch before moving the fingers on it. Arm's rewired. Where am I? She rotated up on her body up along her wheel, her only mode of transportation. She looked around, observing the landscape and debris before moving forward a little to test her wheel. She matched landscape up with the known locations in her data banks. No match. I can still move. Good. Still no clue on location, sending out an S.O.S. burst. A small blue light flicked from tips of the metallic fins, sending out a short range beacon on all frequencies. She began to roll away from the site cautiously, recording her environment. Hopefully that was received. Set new overall goal: Survive. Secondaries: Find shelter and any survivors. Gather evidence on what happened.
Kimlasca regatherd her energy and got 4 pieces of grass around her and made a makeshift bandage for the wound on her neck, quickly getting up after, she looked at everything and sighed "90% of the area is untouched, 4% exhales from other species, must be my lucky day!" she said, and followed the trail of 'exhales' in hope of finding a survivor and not a monster.
Everything seems to be functioning fine. Hopefully there's another engineer who sur- Janet was thinking to herself before sensing something behind her. She quickly whipped around on her wheel, coming face to face with the demonic looking person and jumping back. "C-Can I help you?" she asked, her metallic voice wavering in tone a little.
Chesh looked at the droid, puzzled. It sounded almost... confused. She shook her head. She must have imagined it. The WA-7s were an old product line. It's vocal processor was probably damaged. It didn't really matter, anyway. She needed those parts... "Verbal command: system shutdown. Override code: one-three-three-seven-alpha. Now, be a good little droid and turn yourself off. I need parts."
Janet's sensors picked up the command quiet clearly. The audio file was quickly scrutinized by the in the by her programing. VERBAL COMMAND: SYSTEM SHUTDOWN. OVERIDE: 1-3-3-7-A. Not today. System, command override:End and delete process VC:System Shutdown. Override: 8-9-9-2-B. PROCESS ENDED. FILE DELETED. ERROR: UNKNOWN VOICE COMMAND. DISREGARD. Janet tilted her head, the whole processing taking only a few seconds. "Really? You thought that would work?" She whipped around and sped off in the opposite direction. Note: Avoid previous organic. Malicious intentions conflicts with current main goal.
"What the...?" Chesh watched in annoyance as the droid sped away. That override command was universal for all WA model droids. It should have worked. Unless... "That thing has been heavily modded. Maybe even an advanced A.I. It may be more useful to leave it functioning." She sighed, and took off running after the droid. When she got close enough for it to hear her, she spoke to it. "Wait! I propose a truce, droid. You help me, I help you. How long can you last without maintenance? A week, tops? If you help me find a way out of this mess, I can keep you working for as long as we're stuck here."
Eravan slowly walked to the rest of the group clutching his stomach. "Things were going smoothly until I was given some non-dextro foods and had to go to the medical ward to be treated for poisoning. If I was still flying that ship we wouldn't be in this mess. Where's my co-pilot anyway?. His voice was rough as if he had seen many battles before and he was also bound to know of at least one race that could of done this. Though right now he needed to go and see whether there were any dextro-plants/meat on this planet.
Janet kept a distance from Chesh before turning around. She tried to run simulations to herself on if she'd be betrayed, but would end up in a stalemate. She needed maintenance but she knew she could handle simple stuff. But what if serious damage occurs?... Inquires required. Need more information. She crossed her arm, watching Chesh's face closely. "Who's to say you won't try to scavenge me during maintenance?"
Lissa arrived at the location of the suit's explosion. "Nothing. Whoever this was left. Probably long gone..." She reached down and picked up a memory chip. She flipped it in her hand. "Salvageable memory drive. Course of ship most likely recorded. Assist in locating easiest route home..." She noticed the tracks the heavy armiistan left, and she turned to follow them.
Eravan finally saw another survivor in the distance. From the blurred image he could see it was Lissa, so he decided to shout out to her to get her attention. "Hey Liis, Over here." After finishing he began a massive coughing fit causing Eravan to quickly rush for the meds in one of his pockets. Once they were swallowed he continued walking slowly to the female Scaarb his arm still clutching his stomach.
Lissa heard the call and was at his side quickly. "You are not well. Oh my. Here. Do not keep straining yourself." She grabbed him and moved him onto her back. "You are very lucky. If you had been found by someone else... probably not as built to help you." She looked back at him and smiled. "We have much distance to go before we find another... but I think you should have this." She handed him the data chip, before starting back on the trail of Chesh.
"Thanks, Im guessing you were head pilot during the time I was in the med bay. Honestly Human's have no consideration for Garinian needs. They only care about serving there food type's." Eravan coughed up some more. Hoping that the med's he was taking would last for the two more weeks that would be needed to end the poisoning. "So... Co-pilot of mine, what were you stationed on or piloting before this vessel."
"I would... prefer not to say. I will say it was dangerous. I will say the ship crashed. I will say the crew blamed me. I will also say they are all dead now. I will say nothing else." She made a chittering sound before sighing.
"I did here some all too familiar sounds, from my bed. So I dont blame you. Proton cannons are a hell of a nightmare to deal with." Eravan sighed and continued speaking "If only that damn ship was more manoeuvrable. Human starships of all types are slow and completly useless. If we were stationed on the newly built I.G.N (Intergalactic Garinian Navy) Tarvisca transport shuttle we wouldnt be in this mess." He definitely began to show his species distrust of the humans. For one main reason, they were inexperienced when it came to space exploration and colonisation.
