It depends on what kind of meet-up it is. Strangers on Omegle: No. If it's meeting up with those on a forum or it's a convention, it's a bit safer. Just don't let your guard down. It's also better if you have a friend to go with. What kind of meet-up is it? (just out of curiosity)
Those are conventions, not meetups, aren't they? For small meetups, I agree with B-Dog. Make sure it's in an open, public place and go with some other people if you can, but It's likely to be safe. If it's a convention, there's gonna be many other people, soooo... Yeah, if anything happened to you, others'd notice. You'd be pretty safe.
Sheffield? We should car-pool down to Nottingham for next years meet up there! :derpe: I'm from Barnsleyyyyyy. yay~
well, brony meetups are always nice, and good. Just don't be shy, I've been on many meetups in various countries, and i've always had a blast of time.
If you're like arranging to meet up with more than one person, then probably yeah, it'll be safe. As long as you're meeting somewhere like, safe and public, like say, Sheffield train station, to go into the city center... Just gotta be cautious of any one on one sort of contact.
You're kind of near Me and Kaze xD If you're choosing to attend a meet that's already been setup, then go for it. If someone PM's you asking to meet up out of the blue, then you're gonna have a bad time. Just use common sense with it ^^ And if you're unsure, tell an adult! :3
What the buck I live in beeston not to far from Nottingham (and 10 minutes drive from merriweather) yet I've heard nothing about this meet-up where and when is it?
