It's lonely being the only brony in your state, even lonelier when you know there's a pegasister at the same college. Words of advice?
You'd be surprised where you find bronies. I honestly thought that I was the only one out here where I live, but I stumbled upon a group of bronies around 20~30 strong. I say form an alliance with said pegasister! Sooner or later others will notice your brony-hood and join in; the larger the group, the more comfortable others will be about joining and the less likely you are to take flak for it. At least, that's my experience.
I also live in an area with little to no bronies i know of. But to be honest, i don't feel a need to seek them out. :derpe: ~Moved to Community Discussion~
My school, I heard from of my converted friends, is starting to get a sizable brony community. But we are pretty well hidden and not very obvious, even to each other. And I mostly don't worry about people trying to mess with me as I pretty much tower over most people at my school, so they ain't going to be messing with me(from my exprience)
Closest I know is Tyro and even then, trying to convince parents to let a 14 year old take a train on his own to meet someone over the internet does not end well >.>
I assume you live in Arkansas. Try this link: http://www.facebook.com/Bronies.in.Arkansas If it isn't legit, then try googling for some other results. You live in America, there are plenty of bronies. You're bound to find at least one. - - Auto Merge - - Darkshine, my parents are the same when it comes to internet strangers. If you have any close friends, try to slowly convert them. That's how the brony group became larger where I live.
If you're open to being a brony you can post something on the school bulletin board if you have one, or perhaps host some kind of get-together for other bronies.
