"I guess so," she replied with a playful shrug, cutting the cinnamon roll in half. "But can't be too careful, right?"
"Yeah," she said brightly, sliding half of the cinnamon roll over to him. "It can be our little place."
"I can't eat all of it anyway," she said, holding her half. "Plus, you finished your sandwich already."
She laughed a little, taking small bites of the cinnamon roll. She looked really tired, dark circles under her eyes, but she seemed happy.
She paused, her eyes unfocusing slightly as she thought about it. "I think we could probably push them together and then layer a bunch of blankets over it..."
